Holy Spirits - Drums Traditional Yoruba/Nigeria

This trance music is inspired by traditional African Yoruba music and drums. This percussion composition uses mostly Shekere (tambourine) and two sets of IBA drums from Badagiri; This drum is also used by other Nigerian groups such as the Igbo in Eastern Nigeria. Its captivating rhythm is hypnotic, shamanic-like, and excellent to isolate the mind from external stimuli. It was created in collaboration with Christopher Ifeloluwa, a family friend and young Nigerian Artist.
