Hello beautiful woman,
Welcome to this guided practice created with soulful intention for you to settle into.
Find a nice,
Quiet,
Cozy space where you won't be disturbed.
And let's take this moment to drop in and connect to your body and pleasure.
You might like to be seated or lie down.
Just ease into whatever feels right for you in this moment.
This is your time,
Just for you.
Nowhere to be,
Nothing to do,
Just you and me,
Here together for a while.
As you settle in,
Notice if you could be even 5 or 10% more comfortable and make any adjustments that feel good for you and your body.
Allowing yourself to have this moment to be comfortable and fully supported.
Starting to come into some stillness now and just resting in this space for a moment with your breath Whether you're sitting or lying down,
Let's just soften a little and tune into the support of your spine.
Your sit bones and the earth holding you,
Supporting you and loving you.
Notice your feet.
Notice the sensation of each foot.
Fully held and grounded.
Releasing any tension you might be holding onto through the body with each breath.
Perhaps unclenching your glutes,
Softening the belly.
Relaxing your womb space.
And just allowing the body to unfurl into softness.
Your shoulders soft and relaxed.
Releasing the tension down away from your ears.
Relaxing your jaw.
Feel your forehead softening.
And noticing your hands gently resting in your lap or lying by your side.
Just being here with your body melting into the support around you.
If you haven't already,
Start to soften your gaze or completely closing down your eyes and take a nice deep breath in through the nose.
And letting it out on a big letting go sigh.
Beautiful.
We're going to do that one more time,
Taking a big,
Deep breath in through the nose.
Allowing the breath to come into your belly.
And then sighing it out and releasing.
Just letting your body know it's time to relax and receive and just be here.
Allow your body to relax and settle with each breath.
Feeling the tension just melt away.
Taking another breath in through your nose and this time really allow your out-breath to be slightly longer than your in-breath.
Breathing in,
Easing in,
And allowing the breath to hold you here.
The breath is flowing and continuous,
Almost circular,
Like the top of the breath melts into the exhale.
We will begin by just holding your attention to your breathing.
We're just going to be here and notice the breath.
Noticing the natural rhythm in and out.
Without trying to change it.
Simply being witness to the rhythm of your breath.
Your chest rising,
Your belly softening.
The air moving in and out.
Your body knows exactly how to breathe,
Exactly how to be.
Maybe you notice that the inhale feels cool on the nostrils and warmer on the exhale.
Or maybe just noticing where you feel the breath the most.
Is it the nose?
The throat?
The rise and fall of your chest or belly.
Or maybe you feel your whole body breathing.
Allow your breath to be your anchor,
Keeping you grounded in the present moment.
Your breath is available to you at any time to support and hold you.
Whenever you find your mind wandering,
Simply notice and come back to your breath.
As you continue to breathe.
Start to bring your awareness to your body.
Starting with your feet,
Just feeling into your feet.
And then slowly,
Very slowly move your attention gently upward,
Up towards the belly.
Noticing any areas of holding,
Tension or discomfort.
Just being witness to your body and any feelings that might be alive.
Placing your awareness to your womb space.
Moving up toward your chest and heart.
And just resting here for a moment.
Noticing,
Breathing and just being with your body.
Gently moving your attention slowly upwards now,
Towards the crown of the head.
Along the way breathing away any tension or restriction that you might notice in the body.
Feel your awareness of your whole body here in this moment.
Just breathing into your body.
Start to notice any areas that feel warm and grounded in your body.
Maybe it's a subtle nudge to an area or specific place in the body.
It might feel comforting,
Warm and at ease.
Gently scanning the body and noticing what's here.
It might feel neutral,
Balanced or safe.
Leaning into your beautiful wise body and just noticing where it feels most supported and whole.
And let's just be here with that.
You,
Here with your body.
And your breath.
Breathing into this grounded nourishing space.
Allow this sensation to be with you as you start to bring your awareness to the ground beneath you again.
Can you sense the steady support under your body?
The way it doesn't shift or move,
No matter how much you ease and relax.
Let that support hold you.
Fully hold you.
And within that safety and support of being held.
Can you allow just a little spark in,
A little glimmer of aliveness?
Can you open your awareness and notice how safety and pleasure are not opposites?
You can be grounded and alive,
Steady and open.
And just taking a breath into that.
Breathing in and breathing out.
We're often taught that pleasure has to be something big,
Grand and extraordinary.
Something that we experience outside of ourselves.
Like the perfect holiday,
The perfect food,
The perfect moment,
The perfect milestone.
But pleasure is not only found in these big experiences and highs.
Today,
I want to invite you into a more gentle kind of pleasure.
The kind that already exists in the small,
Seemingly ordinary moments of everyday life.
Let's take a breath together here to feel into this idea.
Let your breath hold you in this.
Can you softly lower the expectation that pleasure has to be big,
Grand,
Deserved,
Or perfect?
Can you let it be simple,
Like it's already here with you?
Can you allow it to be right with you?
Notice if there's any sensations or tension,
Any feelings that arrive in your body that might come with the word pleasure.
Do your shoulders lift?
Does your chest tighten?
What do you notice?
Gently exhale and keep breathing into your body.
Breathing into you noticing.
Noticing where.
Noticing if there is a texture.
Noticing a temperature or a color.
And just being here with that.
Allowing any sensations to be here fully held and supported by your breath and your body.
Now,
Can you invite those places to soften,
Even just a little?
Just breathing into these beautiful spaces in your body.
Breathing into your awareness.
And start to bring your awareness to your hands.
Allow them to rest or lay where they are and simply start to notice.
Maybe it's the warmth,
A pulse,
The tingling at your fingertips.
You might notice softness or even just the comfort of touch.
The gentle weight of your hands resting is,
In itself,
A small act of pleasure.
Shift your focus to your breath once again.
Feel the coolness as air enters and the warmth as it leaves.
Sense the chest expanding,
Then softening.
Your belly rising and falling.
This rhythm has been with you every single moment of your life.
Here,
Holding you,
Supporting you.
What if this breath,
So simple,
Ordinary,
And yet constant,
Was already enough to give you a moment,
A feeling of pleasure?
Scan slowly down through your body.
Perhaps you notice the release of your jaw,
The weight of your thighs against the surface beneath you,
The softness in your belly.
Maybe pause in each place that offers you even a glimmer of warmth or comfort.
Allow yourself to linger there,
Letting it grow.
And just breathing in and breathing out.
Each of these tiny sensations can be a doorway into pleasure if you allow it to be.
I'd like to invite you to recall or imagine a simple moment of ease or comfort.
Something ordinary like the warmth of the sun on your skin.
The feeling of sipping a tea.
A gentle breeze on your face,
Or the embrace of a hug.
Breathing in to what this moment feels like for you.
See if you can sense it,
Not just in your mind,
But in your body.
Where do you feel it most alive?
Where do you feel it in your body?
Does your chest soften?
Your shoulders release?
Does your body feel at ease?
Is it the skin on your arms that feels the warmth of the sunlight?
Maybe it's your cheeks that are reminded of a cool breeze.
Your warm heart as it remembers the smile or laugh of a loved one.
Breathing in and being curious about what's here for you.
And just imagine letting it ripple out just a little bit more,
Filling more space in your body.
Can you sense what shifts when you give yourself permission to let yourself linger in this moment?
Let's just be here,
Noticing,
Feeling,
And breathing this space of beautiful ease and pleasure.
Breathing in.
.
.
And breathing out.
Notice how ordinary,
Simple things like warmth,
Breath,
Touch,
And support can open the door to a grounded presence.
Pleasure is not somewhere out there.
It's here,
Available in each breath,
In each sensation,
In each simple moment.
Here,
With you,
At any time.
And let's just take a nice yummy breath into that.
What a beautiful thing to have available to you.
Allow yourself to be fully supported and nourished by this knowing and just being here with your breath and these feelings for a little while longer.
Coming back to your breath and your body once again.
As you start to slowly bring some awareness back to the present moment.
Take a deep breath in.
And exhale nice and slowly.
Noticing your body still fully supported.
Maybe just sensing the energy of the room around you.
You might like to start to bring some gentle movement back into your body.
You can start to gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Noticing any sounds that may be around you.
And if it feels nice,
You might like to sway or rock,
Bringing in some movement to your body.
Maybe you might like to use your hands to gently touch or hold your shoulders,
Maybe like a warm,
Gentle hug.
As we start to come to a close,
Notice how your body feels now compared to when we began.
Perhaps there's a little more ease,
Warmth or softness.
Breathing in through the nose and letting out a beautiful long exhale.
You might like to start to flutter open your eyes,
Bringing yourself back into your space.
And just take a moment to notice your surroundings.
Are there any textures within reach that you can feel?
Any sounds you can hear.
Are there any colours,
Light or shadows that you notice?
Maybe even a scent in the air.
Noticing that your senses are portals into pleasure.
Each one an invitation into aliveness.
Take a few slow breaths to anchor into this experience.
Inhale deeply into your belly.
And exhale out through the mouth,
Maybe with a sigh.
Gently reawakening the body.
Carry with you the knowing that pleasure doesn't have to be sought after or chased,
Big or external.
It lives here,
In the ordinary,
In the now.
Take a breath,
Let it go,
And gently return to your day,
Taking with you the possibility of finding joy in the simplest of things.
Let your breath,
Your body,
Your sensations be the gateway to experiencing pleasure in any moment.
