My intention today is to spend five minutes with you in mindful gratitude.

Pause for a moment.

And as long as it's safe and appropriate,

Go ahead and close your eyes.

Settle into your body.

Settle into this moment.

Release any tension or tightness that may be in or around the body.

Preparing yourself for mindful awareness and gratitude.

I now invite you to gently rest your awareness on some small thing that brings you joy or happiness or some little pleasure.

As you gently rest your awareness here,

Silently express your gratitude for that which brings you joy or happiness or some small pleasure.

Give yourself permission to magnify this gratitude that you're feeling now.

To allow it to grow and to expand in some meaningful way.

And notice how your body is responding to the gratitude that you've been expressing.

What are you aware of inside your thoughts and inside your body sensations as you gently express this gratitude?

Only note what comes into your awareness as you're expressing this gratitude.

And how would you expand this experience,

Deepening and enriching this moment of gratitude?

In a moment when you open your eyes,

Bring with you this gentle awareness of gratitude.

And know that every minute has 60 seconds.

And in each one of those 60 seconds,

There is some small awareness.

And a few seconds scanning your environment,

Scanning your body,

And noticing all of the little things that bring you comfort or joy or peace or some small pleasure.

Notice that your life in this moment is beautiful beyond measure.

An excellent brief exercise. And I agree with other reviewers: it’s a very appealing voice, made particularly so if you listen via headphones. Note that the final 30 seconds or so are silent and there is no final bell. Accessible to all; lends itself to repeat listens.
