Follow my words as we visualize white healing light saturate and blanket each and every part of our body, as we slip into a deeper state of calm and peace. This meditation is perfect to do before bedtime or while preparing for sleep. Perfect for those with insomnia or chronic pain.

Welcome,

Dear one,

Welcome.

I'm Lily Ellen Duanez,

The founder of the Wild Yoga Tribe,

And I thank you for joining me for this healing,

White light,

Shavasana meditation.

Let's begin.

Lay down in a comfortable position of Shavasana,

Whether you are on your bed,

The soft carpet of your floor,

Or on a yoga mat.

Flutter your eyes closed and feel your whole body relax.

Take a deep breath in from your root chakra,

Pulling the breath up your body,

And slowly breathe out,

Feeling all the tension releasing from your body.

Now draw your awareness to your breath as it flows in and flows out.

With every exhale,

You feel yourself getting heavier and heavier.

Feel your body relaxing more and more as all the tightness and tension evaporates from your body.

And again,

Take a deep breath in and out,

Allowing your body to feel completely at peace.

Now we are going to imagine that with every breath,

You are inhaling a soft white light,

Almost like the glow of a candle or the downy white mist that rolls in from the sea.

Inhaling this soft white light feels effortless,

Coming to you with great ease.

This white light is soothing,

Calming,

And relaxing.

As you inhale,

Visualize that you are inhaling that soft white light and feel it pacify your body and mind.

Notice that it spreads slowly,

More and more throughout your body with each and every inhale.

Now you see the white light beginning to spread throughout your head and your face,

Blanketing your eyes,

Nose,

Mouth,

Chin,

And forehead.

Feel your jaw soften.

Your whole face and head is now covered in soft white light.

Watch as the light seeps down your neck towards your chest.

As it reaches your heart,

You feel a warm glow surround your heart,

Cocooning it in comfort.

You feel your shields drop,

The walls around your heart soften.

And feel that with every inhale,

This warm white light is streaming to and filling up your heart.

The light now reaches towards your shoulders,

Your back,

And your spine,

Dulling any aches or pains,

Giving sweet relief to all that ails you.

Tendrils of this soft white light reach out and glide down your arms,

Your forearms,

Your wrists,

And each and every finger of your hands.

Each of your arms are now covered in soft white light.

White light reaches towards your stomach and abdomen,

Filling you with the most beautiful white light,

Calming and soothing your internal organs.

Feel that light spread down further into your pelvis,

Your hips,

Your bottom.

Now feel that light traveling down your legs,

Swirling around your knees,

Moving down your calves,

Towards your ankles,

And now towards your toes.

Feel your entire body swelling with beautiful white light that makes you feel refreshed,

Energized,

And as light as air.

This white light envelops your entire body and pulses ever so subtly with each and every inhale.

You feel feathery light,

Silky smooth,

And truly at home in your body.

Every muscle,

Every joint,

Every cell,

Every tissue is full of this soft white healing light.

Feel that your whole body is relaxed.

Your whole body is completely and entirely relaxed.

Now visualize that white light emanating around your body,

Spreading out just past your skin,

Making your whole body glow with beautiful,

Soft,

Delicate white light.

You feel supported,

Comforted,

And at ease.

There is no stress or tension in your body.

You are completely at peace.

Now ever so slowly bring yourself back to your body,

Lying on the floor,

On the mat,

Or on your bed.

Notice where your body connects to the surface beneath you.

Notice the texture,

The softness of sensations.

Now with the gentlest movement possible,

Bring yourself back to your body by waving your fingers and toes,

All while keeping that feeling of peace and calm inside of your body,

Mind,

And heart.

Whenever you are ready,

You can gently open your eyes.

Here we go.
