Welcome to Wildemountain Breathwork.
My name is Asha,
And this is a 30-minute healing journey designed to be done lying down.
You can breathe through your mouth or your nose,
But by breathing through your mouth you'll create more activation faster in your body.
During this practice,
It's normal to feel numbness and tingling in your hands,
Your feet,
Your lips,
Or big shifts in body temperature.
And these sensations may change throughout the practice.
If anything feels too intense,
Simply return to a natural breath.
The intention of this practice is to activate your body,
Release stuck energy,
And connect to parts of ourselves that we don't usually access.
By breathing in this way,
We quiet the logical mind,
And we begin to bring our mammalian brain online,
Which is where our body-centered awareness becomes alive.
We create space for emotional release,
Physical activation,
Or connection to the essence of yourself.
We will do three rounds of breaths.
Gear number one is easy,
Deep breathing.
Gear number two,
A faster,
Deeper breath.
And gear number three is almost like a breath of fire for the last minute of each round.
The first round is followed by a 60-second breath hold,
Followed by 90-second breath holds for the last two rounds.
So with that,
Simply lay down,
Bring awareness to your breath.
Now when you're ready,
Begin to take big,
Deeper breaths,
Letting the inhale travel all the way down from the pelvic floor into the belly,
Up through the chest,
Into the shoulders,
And then gently letting it go.
Continue breathing like this,
Inviting the breath into the deeper spaces,
Spaces we don't usually access in our day-to-day lives.
So much of our daily breathing is shallow and automatic.
We often don't notice when our breath speeds up with emotion or when we hold it in certain moments or situations.
So this is your opportunity to explore the depths of your breath,
To notice where your body can receive more air,
More space,
And to gently lean into that.
As we continue,
If you notice your mind beginning to wander,
That's okay.
Simply bring your attention back to the breath,
Back to the sensation of your lungs filling on the inhale and emptying on the exhale.
Each breath is an invitation to come back into your body.
And as you breathe this way,
You may begin to notice sensations arising,
And you don't need to analyze them or place a story on what they mean.
Just notice and feel and breathe into whatever is present.
Let your breath meet your body exactly where it is.
We're about to go into gear number two here,
But we're going to quicken and deepen the breath.
So just follow along with the breath as it changes,
Without effort,
Allowing the breath to become a little fuller,
A little more connected.
Not by forcing it,
But by softening any pauses between the inhale and the exhale,
Letting the breath move in a smooth,
Continuous cycle.
Breathing all the way down into the belly,
The ribs,
The back of the lungs,
And allowing the chest and shoulders to remain relaxed as the breath flows through.
Keep going.
You got this.
You might feel warm,
Tingling movement or emotions.
There's no need to label or interpret any of these.
Just keep breathing.
We're about to change into our next gear,
Where the breath will quicken even more.
If you can,
I invite you to continue to stay present,
Even as the breath becomes more active.
Let the breath guide you deeper into your body,
Deeper into sensation,
Deeper into this experience.
Keep going.
Keep breathing.
You can do this.
Taking a big deep breath in,
All the way in,
All the way in,
And hold at the top.
Letting it all go for your first breath retention.
I invite you to surrender,
Letting yourself land fully in the space.
Bringing awareness to any sensations that arise in your body and notice what is present without judgment.
If there's tension,
Tightness,
Or discomfort,
Allow yourself to lean in just a little.
Be curious.
Exploring with a gentle awareness like you're discovering something new.
Just feel.
Taking a big deep breath in,
All the way in,
And hold,
And squeeze.
Squeeze into your third eye.
Feeling all of the energy before gently letting it go.
Letting your body breathe you here,
Before entering our next round of breath.
Starting back in gear one,
Beginning our second round of breathing.
Gently now,
Bringing awareness back to your breath.
Noticing the inhale and the exhale.
Inviting your breath to be full and deep.
Moving from your belly into your chest,
Up into your shoulders,
And release naturally.
With every inhale and exhale,
Begin to bring a sense of presence back to your body.
Noticing any areas that feel alive and awake,
Or ready to receive.
And as your breath continues,
I invite you to visualize a beautiful moment in your life.
Not the image,
But the feeling it carried in your body.
Remember how your body felt in that moment.
The lightness,
The warmth,
The joy,
The love.
And place that feeling in your body,
Letting it settle around your heart space.
And with each inhale,
Feed that feeling.
And with each exhale,
Allowing it to grow and expand.
Filling more space in your chest.
And as you continue to breathe,
Picture this energy becoming stronger and brighter.
Let it gently expand,
Moving outwards to other parts of your body.
Let it fill your belly,
Your arms,
Your legs,
Your back.
Everywhere it can reach.
Keep allowing that feeling to grow.
And fully surrendering to any resistance that's coming up.
As we build this energy with our breath.
Noticing any areas of your body that might feel tight or heavy,
Resistant.
Instead of pushing against it,
Inviting your breath into those spaces.
Allow the energy to move there gently,
Softening and illuminating any tension.
Keeping your attention on this energy in your heart.
Let the breath be the guide,
Nourishing and expanding the warmth.
Allowing it to swirl,
To expand,
To fill your entire body with each inhale.
Feel it as we move on to our next gear,
Changing our breath.
When you're ready,
Grow,
Feel it spread and integrate into every part of you.
Entering gear number three.
Allowing yourself to stay curious about what's arising.
Noticing the sensations,
Tangling,
Fluttering,
Tension,
Expansion.
Let the energy move through them.
With each inhale,
Feel the energy gathering strength.
And every exhale,
Imagine it expanding,
Moving outward,
Filling the spaces.
As emotions or feelings appear,
Simply letting them be a part of this energy.
Breathing into them.
Letting the breath carry them gently.
Watch how the energy grows even brighter,
Stronger.
Sense how the warmth and light circulates through your body,
Feeding every cell,
Every muscle,
Every fiber.
Big deep breath in,
All the way in.
And hold at the top.
Just for a moment.
Before we let it all go.
Breath retention.
Bringing full awareness to that energy you created,
Surrounding your heart,
That filled your body.
Now imagine this energy leaving your body,
Moving gently into the space around you.
Notice how it spreads,
Expanding into the room,
Into your environment.
And out into the people that you love.
Allowing this energy to move beyond those you love.
Touching even people you may not know.
Sending warmth,
Connection,
And light into the wider world.
Imagine this energy flowing freely,
Expanding through the planet and the universe.
Feel it radiating,
Carrying the intention of love,
Connection,
And presence.
Big deep breath in,
All the way in.
And hold.
And letting it go.
As we head into our last and final round.
Starting those slow,
Big intentional breaths once again.
With each inhale,
Inviting energy into your body.
And with each exhale,
Releasing any stiffness,
Heaviness,
Or tension that has left.
Feeling the energy beginning to move through your muscles.
Softening them,
Awakening them.
Notice how your body begins to come to life with each breath.
Continuing to allow your breath to gradually become deeper,
Fuller,
And more connected.
Letting your breath fully guide you.
The breath knows the way,
And the body knows the way.
About to enter gear number two.
When you're ready,
Following the breath.
Here we go.
Allowing your breath to gradually become faster.
Imagine your energy filling every fiber of your being.
With every exhale,
Feeling it circulate,
Activate your muscles,
Your joints,
Your core.
This is your body waking up.
Your nervous system activating,
Your energy flowing.
Let it be alive.
Let every cell awaken.
Let yourself move.
Let yourself be however your body wants to express.
If your body needs to shake,
Or yell,
Or vocalize,
Let yourself be.
Just keep going,
Keep breathing.
As the breath becomes more intense,
Stay connected.
Let yourself draw energy in with every inhale.
And let it freely flow,
Expanding outward with every exhale.
Beginning gear number three.
Keep going,
Feel it in your body,
In your presence,
In your breath.
Know that this activation is yours to carry,
In your body,
In your world.
Keep going.
You're almost there,
You can do this.
Keep going,
Keep breathing.
Letting yourself fully express here.
Letting it go,
Letting it go.
And then taking a big,
Deep,
Full breath all the way in.
And hold it here.
Feeling the aliveness flowing through you.
Letting yourself fully land here.
Big,
Deep breath in all the way in.
Letting it all go.
Allowing your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Lie here,
Fully supported by your body.
And invite yourself to receive.
Whatever your body has for you in this moment.
If there is energy,
Emotion,
Or sensation that wants to move or release,
Allow it to flow.
Allow yourself to rest in it.
There is nothing to do,
Nowhere to go,
Nothing to fix.
Simply be with your breath,
Your body,
Your awareness.
Breathe,
Receive,
Release,
Rest.
It can come back anytime to this place.
Our breath is a beautiful gateway.
To the divine love within yourself.
So remember that you are worthy.
And that you are loved.
Namaste.
