Welcome to this 5 minute gratitude reset.

This is your time to pause,

Breathe,

And connect with the positive energy of gratitude.

Together we'll create a foundation of peace and appreciation to carry you through your day.

So,

Let's begin by grounding ourselves with 3 deep breaths.

Take a slow inhale through your nose for a count of 4,

1,

2,

3,

4 and hold it gently for a moment.

And now exhale through your mouth for a count of 6,

1,

2,

3,

4,

5,

6.

So let's do that again.

Inhale deeply and exhale fully.

Releasing any tension or worry.

And one more time,

Breathe in deeply,

Feeling the air fill your lungs,

Bringing energy and calm,

And exhale completely.

Letting everything go.

Now that we've centered ourselves,

Let's bring to mind 3 things you're grateful for.

These can be simple moments,

Like the warmth of sunlight on your skin,

The sound of birds in the morning,

Or the comfort of your favorite chair.

They also might be profound,

Like a love of a dear friend or the opportunity to learn and grow.

So take a moment to focus on the first thing you're grateful for.

Picture it clearly in your mind.

Notice the feelings it brings up.

Perhaps warmth,

Joy,

Or even peace.

Let that gratitude expand within you,

Filling your heart.

Now,

Shift your focus to the second thing you're grateful for.

It could be something small and easily overlooked,

Like the feeling of clean water,

The smell of fresh air,

Or even a cherished memory.

Allow yourself to savor it,

Letting gratitude flow through you.

And finally,

Bring to mind a third thing you're grateful for.

This might be a person,

A moment of kindness,

Or simply the fact that you have this time to reflect.

Hold it gently in your heart,

And notice how it feels to truly appreciate it.

As you sit with these feelings of gratitude,

Notice how your body responds.

Perhaps you feel lighter,

Calmer,

Or even a soft smile forming on your lips.

Gratitude has the power to shift your perspective and brighten your day,

No matter what lies ahead.

Now,

Let's bring our awareness to something we often take for granted,

Our breath.

With each inhale,

Feel the life it brings into your body,

Nourishing and sustaining you.

And with each exhale,

Release any tension,

Knowing this breath is always here for you,

A constant companion.

Turn your attention inward now to your body.

This incredible vessel carries you through life,

Allowing you to experience its wonders.

It may not be perfect,

But it's worthy of gratitude.

Take a moment to silently thank your body for all that it does,

For supporting you,

Healing you,

And allowing you to be here in this moment.

Finally,

Let's reflect on one small joy in your life,

Something that brings light to your day.

It could be laughter of a loved one,

A feeling of accomplishment from a task well done,

Or even the beauty of a sunrise.

So hold this joy in your mind and let it fill your heart with warmth and appreciation.

Now,

As we prepare to conclude this practice,

Take one last deep breath in and exhale fully,

Letting the gratitude settle deeply within you.

Now,

Place your hands over your heart or rest them gently in your lap.

Feel this gratitude as a warm light radiating from within you.

Repeat this affirmation after me,

Either silently or out loud.

I am grateful for today and the opportunities it brings.

Carry this sense of gratitude with you into your day,

Knowing it's a source of strength,

Peace,

And of course,

Joy.

Good work today and Namaste.
