Today we are diving into what is maybe known a little bit as esoteric concepts called the laws of the universe, But really enabling you to break down the seemingly complex into something practical for your everyday life and align you better with your spiritual path. In this special episode, I will share a live session that I hosted for a beautiful group of 61 souls. Together we explored the sacred law of correspondence that we all have in this life and the ways in which life speaks to us and aligns us with our life path. So with that, Let's dive right in. And so why should we care about the laws of the universe? The laws of the universe, I would say, Is like the rulebook for playing the game of life. So when we don't understand the rules, We tend to lose the game. And these rules apply not only to us, But to everything in the universe. So it doesn't serve us to be at odds with the rules. We get to play the game and experience the game. We are not the creator of the rules. And so we get to understand the rules so that we find joy in playing the game of life or experiencing the beauty in life and also working towards the evolution of our soul here on earth. And last time we met, We talked about the first law of the universe, Which was the law of oneness and also known as the principle of mentalism. And so today we're going to dive more into the second law, Or also known as the law or principle of correspondence. And so we'll get to really dive into that here today. And you'll see how the law of oneness also becomes integrated in the law of correspondence as well, Or the principle of correspondence. So even if you missed the last session, No prior knowledge needed. We'll come back, We'll circle back to, You know, What does hermetic mean and what is the origin of these laws to begin with? And so today we are going to be discovering, You know, The science of things, The spirituality, But also including some experimental evidence and ancient principles. We know that seven hermetic principles were created through ancient teachings and mythical wisdom through a teacher named Hermes Trimegitus. And so Hermes is a combination of two gods, Greek god Hermes and Egyptian god Thoth. And it was believed that the origins of divine wisdom were to be shared amongst, You know, The sages on earth and the wisdom keepers on earth in order for the wisdom keepers to deliver it to their villages in a very practical way. The world has changed a lot. We are all sort of in this age where we're learning how to be our own guru. And so as we learn about this divine wisdom and what was revealed to the ancients back in the day by God or the universe to bring to the world, Start to think of yourself as like, You know, Your own guru, Your own sage who is learning the origins of these laws and learning the practicality of these laws so that you can live a more conscious life and bring that practicality into your everyday. And so each week or bi-weekly we focus on one law. And so last time we were able to focus on the law of divine oneness. And all laws build on the first law of oneness, Or principle of mentalism. So you'll find that this is present in today's talk. And each law will be shared in a way that honours both the depth, The ancient teaching, But also a way that brings, You know, That consciousness to today's age, That fun, And allows us to think of how we work with the laws of the universe for both play and our own evolution in order to bring about and live a life that is in highest alignment of our highest calling. And so last session we talked about the law of oneness or mentalism, Which is this idea that all is mine, The universe is mental, And that there is this creative power to our thoughts and our thoughts have the power to shape our experiences. And we can really transform our reality by shifting the way we see things and the way we think and our experiences of the world and how it's shaped through mental filters, But primarily through how we identify with those mental filters because it's not necessarily the thoughts that we want to avoid or run away from. We don't want to sort of like push any thoughts away per se, But we want to stop identifying with those thoughts, Allowing them to sort of dissolve and over time allowing them to be replaced with thoughts that are more healthy for what we actually want to bring into form. So today's principle is going to be the principle of correspondence or law of correspondence. And so Herms says this means as above so below, As below so above. And so you've probably heard this before and said differently in other ancient or religious or spiritual texts. People have said on earth or as is in heaven, Right? So it really speaks to the world of duality, How we're connected to the world around us via the world within us. And so there's really going to be this focus on cultivating this the world within us in order to cultivate the world around us. And we connect to law of one because of our thoughts. And so we see that the law of one relates to the law of correspondence because the law of one is the power to shape our experiences and through our thoughts. And the law of correspondence is our ability to shape our experiences that exist within us through varying states of vibration. So above, The vibrations of above, The vibrations of below, Or you can think of them as lower or higher vibrations on a spectrum. So what is our connection to the experiences of the world that is shaped by the mental filters that we have, Right? And how do we communicate or correspond to the world within us and thus the world around us? So let's break down what this means. So when we think about the word correspondence, Right, We can think about the word communication. And so the big theme here is communication. So how do we communicate with the world around us? And then how do we communicate with ourselves? How do you communicate with yourself? How do you communicate with others? What is your communication when you think about the thoughts or the feelings or the words or the physical actions? Because all are forms of communication and they all have a impact on what we allow into our life. And so it's really about this idea that your inner world is a direct reflection of your outer world. So you are a spiritual being, You're a spiritual being that's here to have a human experience. And your ultimate goal is realizing that, Like realizing that within your body that you are a spirit having a human experience and really living from the place of the spirit, But also embracing the humanity. And so this means living from that place within in terms of your purpose or your dharma and what you have come here through this incarnation here on earth. And so this is all about what is reflected to you in your outer world in terms of what are you seeing in your outer world that are kind of in terms of what are you seeing in your outer world that are kind of like spiritual reminders or signposts that's connecting you to deeper truth or your deeper essence or also can sometimes be telling you that you're coming out of alignment, Right? That you're actually these signposts can tell you that you're out of alignment with your soul's calling or your soul's alignment. And we know that cycles will repeat until we learn the lesson, Until we break the cycle or until we evolve. And so it's kind of like playing a game and so that's why I say the game of life. And the game of life can be serious if we make it serious, It can be funny if we make it funny, It can be fun if we make it fun. It's kind of like watching a movie, Right? It's like choose your genre, Right? The game of life is is played or seen through your genre or the lens that you're looking at life from. So when you're constantly revisiting the same emotions which are energy in motion or the same thoughts keep coming up or you keep having you're noticing a behavior that keeps coming up for you, There's specific actions that you keep taking over and over and over again even though deep down your truest desire is actually to change this state. This is where your energetic potential requires you to make the change internally in order for the change to be to correspond externally, Right? Or be communicated to you externally. So it's all about this idea of once you become an energetic match for different thoughts, Emotions, Words, Actions or things coming into your life, That's when you start to attract those thoughts, Those emotions, Those words, Those actions and that higher potential can actually be realized externally because it was realized in your body which is your energetic vessel of change. So we really want to sort of see ourselves or a body as this beautiful opportunity to like be that vessel of change because as I mentioned your inner world is or is always communicating what is going on in terms of what you're seeing in your outer world and until you sort of break the cycle internally, It's like the game of life is going to keep coming back to you saying sorry, Try again, Sorry, Try again, Sorry, Try again, Right? Because the cycle is sort of the same song and dance and until you become that energetic change within, As Gandhi likes to say, Become the change you want to see in the world, That change is not going to be reflected in your outer world. So you're going to feel the turbulence of your outer world because there's turbulence in your inner world that wants to be realized, That wants to be felt, That wants to be seen in order for that energy to be transmuted or alchemized or transformed because we know through Newton's laws that energy is neither created nor destroyed and so you're not necessarily getting any new energy, You're just transforming it, Right? And so until you transform that energy within, It's going to keep being reflected to you externally to you, Right? And in a way it's kind of like, It's like a superpower, Right? Like we're able to kind of see what's going on in our outer world to understand ourselves in our inner world a lot more deeper through this law or principle of correspondence and so you can think of it like a mirror. You will see your outer world shift because your inner world has shifted and then there's also this phenomena of seeing a sign. You guys are probably familiar with, You know, Sometimes we just have this like deep, Deep inner resonance with synchronicity or we're seeing a sign external to us that we're like, There's something about this that really is like resonating with me on a high, High frequency. Let me know in the chat if this resonates with you in terms of like seeing signs and you know feeling this phenomenon and and so sometimes yes it is a sign though there is some ancient text and spiritual wisdom that actually says the highest form of guidance is none at all which I was super surprised to learn and we may find on our own unique journey journey or our spiritual path where we're guided sort of every step of the way that that is more because that's really it's kind of like God or the universe saying like this is really important for your evolution and I see that you're on the right track so I'm going to guide your way every step of the way, Right? So we can have this phenomena of seeing a sign and it really resonating with us and we kind of know our soul knows what to do and so we guide our human like here we're going to do this next we're going to do that and then there might be other times where we're really going through, You know, Whether it be a spiritual awakening or spiritual experience of some sort where we feel like we're being divinely guided every single step that we take and every single person that we come into contact with has this communication for us or we have this communication for them through this correspondence that God or the universe or a higher source has sort of set up for us. And so not everything that we think is a sign is a sign and this took me a long time to really I think understand and embody this truth and also I was kind of mad about it to be to be honest because I was like oh all those times I thought I was seeing a sign it wasn't a sign so what is it? And so some of the things that we think we see that are a sign are actually a deeper reflection of our inner world and that's why it's resonating so much and we are like whoa because it's happening inside of us at that very moment of time and the resonance feels so high and it's because it's a mirror right? So there was this one time that I was thinking about okay I want to publish a book but inside I kept feeling and thinking like I want to find a publisher like I want to work with a publisher but I had this this worthiness journey that I was on and I kept telling myself that I would never be able to find a publisher or like what I had this voice inside this negative self-talk that was telling me you're never going to find a publisher um you you have to self-publish that's the only way you're going to get your like your book published and stuff like that and so sure enough I kept seeing like signs on the highway like actual signs that would say self-published through this you know for this platform or whatever it might be like in in those moments that I was feeling that way and what I like as I sat with that I actually realized it wasn't a sign to go self-publish it was a sign showing me that I had this deeper cycle around my self-worth that was unresolved that was forcing me to think that I had to self-publish and that's the thing we don't have to do anything there are of course there are alignments there's alignment there's soul alignments that may be better suited for you and you'll feel the resonance with them but I knew that this resonance that I was feeling was a deeper part of understanding this concept of correspondence and understanding this law of correspondence and understanding that not every sign that I was seeing was an actual sign it was like kind of peeling back layers of the onion because when we go on a spiritual journey we kind of start with oh I'm seeing signs I'm seeing synchronicities but then we actually learn that it's a lot of an inner journey and not as much of an outer journey and less about you know maybe going and seeing psychics and you know seeing healers all the time and actually tapping into our own inner wisdom right and so there's this journey and peeling back of the onion that we'll experience on the spiritual path and so that's kind of a little bit about my experience in seeing signs and moving through that phenomena and so we have this connection or correspondence with lower aspects of ourself internally and we also have this connection and correspondence or consciousness with our higher mind right and so you can see this parallel between your energy that flows from your lower chakras upwards from your root from the from your feet or the base of your spine which is your humanity your animal self your wild and then you can also see how this parallels with the energy that flows downwards through the crown from the higher chakras or you can say from the heavens or in connection with your highest self your higher mind your higher divinity a higher power god the universe etc and so with a connection of power that is activated through our solar plexus right and so we know that the solar plexus holds our energy of willpower and our heart also holds our energy of love the universal sort of language of the universe and gifts that we are meant to share in the world so you can kind of see our heart and our willpower sort of being that bridge of connection between the lower chakras or our lower energy of correspondence and our higher energy of correspondence and so what are you know like we've talked a lot about different concepts right like chakras higher consciousness you know the self inner wisdom signs how can we actually work with this wisdom in our daily life how can we practically use it within our day-to-day to say like I am aligned with the law of correspondence I truly understand so our our crown chakra we have a lot of information flow come down through our crown chakra right and into our brain and that's how we actually understand different concepts and things like that but true like I guess they say like true like opening of the crown and like balanced energy within the crown chakra is all about this notion of I understand like I truly understand like the truths of the world the truths of how the universe was created the truths of my soul and I can implement what I understand in my daily life so taking very like esoteric or spiritual concepts and really making them more practical because we want to know like okay you you're you've told me all these you know amazing things about the universe you know different phenomena science etc but like what do we actually do day to day and so one of the things that I I feel like I cannot stress enough is is that inner world right and so we know that the law of correspondence is really about although it's like a communication with your outer world communication with god the universe or a higher source communication with mother nature communication with what you're seeing in your external reality you're it's all coming from your inner state of being and also your your karma your spiritual path you know why you're here like there's there's all these sort of reasons and like it's very interesting because in statistics or in science we say that like we say that five percent is like random chance or randomness like we don't know why it happens it's just random the universe is random but I would invite like a new perspective that perhaps like we just don't fully understand the order of the universe the order that the universe is sort of in connection with us or in correspondence or in communication with us to really align with our higher self like we don't maybe understand the order so sometimes we think like why is this happening to me again or why why do I keep attracting these kind of people into my life in terms of relationships whether that be a boyfriend or girlfriend or friendship even I want to attract my soul tribe but like why am I not why am I only attracting people who want to take advantage of me or you know why do I keep attracting these things and then you know then we also go through another layer of the onion where we start thinking oh my gosh I need to control my thoughts because my thoughts control my reality and if they control my reality then this is going to happen I'm going to manifest this by mistake right and that's another layer of the manifestation onion but you do not need to control your thoughts and you do not need to control you don't need to control you know you just need to be with what is because what the reason why you might be attracting those relationships into your life as an example is you have a deeper alignment in your that may even come up in your birth chart that that that says like we have we have self self-worth stuff we have to work on you know we have we have you know there's an aspect of you that you came here to master and so we're going to keep showing you that in your external reality until you get that we're going to keep saying try again try again try again until you master that because that's what you said that you wanted to come here to do and so we cannot bypass our internal reality so practically day-to-day it's really carving out that space so holding space for yourself to sit with yourself what are you feeling what communications or correspondence are going in within you within your very being at this moment in time what correspondence are coming um you know are being shown to you through mother nature if you're out in nature for example you could you could have correspondence with mother nature they say trees there's uh signs to show that trees actually talk to each other and i i believe that mother nature has that level of correspondence with us as well it's just most of the time we aren't listening and we're thinking that it's going to come in a particular form but the wisdom may actually come to us at a later time in our day right we might go out into nature and when we're just being we're not in thought or we're not trying to do anything the wisdom is sort of like soaking into us right from nature and then later on we might just have this like idea come to us that we want to like do like this creative idea or you know we've been we've been feeling like we've been having a problem around something for so long and then all of a sudden we feel like we've been able to solve it or or we feel like very connected with you know god or the universe or you know through a meditation we have this just this wisdom or this this this feeling come to us that that carries us throughout the rest of our day and then that step leads to other things happening right and so really taking that time to listen because self-leadership is what we all need and the highest form of leadership is listening and so are you listening are you present are you are you carving out the time to sit with yourself they say that the people who don't have time to meditate are the ones that need to be meditating and you know even if meditation is not your thing there's so many different ways that you can sit with yourself i'm assuming that a lot of you are in on insight timer because meditation is your thing but there's what i'm saying is there's different ways to meditate there's different ways to be with the correspondence or the communication that's going on within and so how can you love honor and accept yourself and what's going on internally even when it feels unfortunate even when the circumstance feels unfortunate and just really holding this space for that and this inner knowing that this is what is going to propel you forward in terms of your healing in terms of your growth in terms of your evolution and so what is being near to you to heal what is being near to you to grow beyond what is being near to to you to leap towards and so funny uh whenever i needed to take like a life leap and i was procrastinating i always saw grasshoppers i would always see grasshoppers i would always see i would go for a walk because some of it was procrastination and some of it was okay i need to like move the energy that's within me after sitting with it for a while we need to also like move it so that we're not being like dragged down by it but i i would i'd be like god the universe like you know send me a sign i need a sign and it was almost like these grasshoppers would show up to be like okay we've sent you like a hundred signs already are you ready to act because you are ready like what are you waiting for and if this is that issue about around self-worth again then you need to circle back and deal with that before you leap but leap it's time to leap right look for the signs but also look for the the internal feedback mechanism because that's going to tell you a lot about what's going on it's going to help you pinpoint right and so it's it's not an opportunity to compound our emotions because sometimes what we actually end up doing is we're like oh my god i'm feeling terrible again i hate when i feel terrible why am i feeling terrible this was supposed to be a good day i don't want to feel like this why do i feel so angry i'm supposed to feel happy today oh like i have so much shame around this or i have so much guilt because i was you know i was meant to be having a happy day today and so when we do that sometimes we tend to like compound things like we're putting like one emotion on top of the other on top of the other and that actually sets us back even more because it's kind of like putting boulders or chains on top of on top of things that we're already feeling an energy that wants to be seen felt and heard and then moved and transmuted and transformed and alchemized and so one really important thing when we're dealing with practically sitting with our inner world day to day is to really know that your circumstances your thoughts your feelings these things are not you and it's important not to over identify with these experiences because it's through the over identification that actually that's what's keeping us stuck it's not the feeling itself it's not the thought itself it's not the circumstance itself it's our over identification that this thought or this feeling or this circumstance is saying something about me and when we say that it's saying something about me because that's our being that's our essence that keeps us really stuck and it puts out this correspondence with our external world that like I am stuck there is a boulder in my way and I cannot move and so and then we start to feel like the sensations around that as well right and so we at some point we have to come to the realization that life is happening for us no matter what happens no matter how much it hurts even when it feels unbearably painful when it provokes anger when it provokes shame when there is even feelings of I don't want to go on like why am I here why you know having these feelings like it's not uncommon to have had a thought like that or a feeling like that and it's and it's always the thing that we're most afraid of too right because we think oh if I have this thought or this feeling that makes me crazy or you know because it's not you right and so it's really important that we don't over identify and so we have to go on realizing that it's all part of the process it's the beauty in the game of life because life is not beautiful because we're always happy it's because we can actually feel the duality because we can feel sadness or else we wouldn't know what happiness is and it's only in knowing that deep inner sadness that we know the true beauty of happiness because both sides of the coin are beautiful life is about beauty and about moving through the duality of life and having the different experiences it's not it's not one side of the duality that's beautiful it's it's the above it's the below it's the within the the without right going back to that principle of correspondence or that law of correspondence and so yeah we really have to go on that go on realizing that it's all part of the process and that it's all part of our humanity and our humanity being intertwined with our spirit and our soul having this human experience here on earth and so we talked a little bit about the inner world now what can we do about the outer world because we know that sometimes we sit in meditation we do the inner work and we still feel like this environment is not conducive to my my growth or my full potential or this environment it feels toxic and so it's really about what is being reflected to you in your outer world because you're out while you're corresponding with your outer world to show you signs and to show you symbols and to show you what needs to be sort of healed or your journey of evolution I don't even like to say what needs to be healed because it makes us think that we have a problem and it's not really a problem it's part of our journey and so while you're corresponding with your outer world the outer world is corresponding with you right and it's it's actually telling you like what are you allowing in your physical space in your physical reality as well so you're you're kind of your own feedback mechanism but you're also the feedback mechanism for your outer world and your outer world is also mechanism for your outer world and your outer world is also a feedback mechanism for you and so when we think practically about what we can do in our daily life to support our outer world it's really about thinking about what are you allowing to take up space in your physical environment day to day whether that be relationships whether that whether that be clutter whether that be jobs whether that be a way of working or a way of being that is putting out signals that I'm going to keep doing I'm going to keep showing you this even though you don't like it because you're telling me that you do like it because you keep staying in this physical environment you keep coming back to it right and so it's really about thinking what is the signal the communication the correspondence that I'm putting out that's going to keep presenting it to myself because of my physical reality and I am putting out this communication that I like this but you don't like it right you're you're probably sitting there telling me like no I don't like that so why does that keep happening to me why does that keep showing up for me and the universe is coming to you and saying but you're cycling through it and you keep cycling through it so we thought you liked it so we thought you wanted to continue to experience it before moving on to the your next human experience so we're going to keep showing it to you and so think about how you can feng shui your life so this is an ancient Chinese medicine practice and you can look into feng shui I recommend you know there's even really good books on feng shui like how to feng shui your home and your environment and even like ways you can meditate and just bring more of like the energy that you're wanting to cultivate internally into your external environment so that your external environment is also not only a feedback mechanism for what's going on inside but it's also supportive of the energy that you're wanting to create inside so feng shui your life if you're not sure kind of where to start or you know how this should look I definitely recommend you come to future sessions on the other laws of the universe that we're going to share over time what is this session all about so I would say the fact that you're here right now is proof that you that you want a supportive environment right and me telling you all of this is is really just a reminder like it's just a reminder so we all come here not to be smarter or better than one another but we actually come here to remind each other like what we're actually here for what we're actually here to do and share supportive tools based on you know our essence and what we've come to share with the world in order to really be that point of view or point of resonance for other beings to fulfill their full potential as well and so know that I'm always here to offer you reminders but it's also knowing that you do not have a problem and sometimes the problem is that we think that we have a problem so the reminders are nice and we are here to help one another but the problem is is basically an illusion in a way because we're actually meant to thrive right and we have that choice to thrive no matter what comes at us on our journey when something is happening in your outer world that is aligned with your humanity or your lower world versus your higher self think about how you can realign think about how you can stop yourself from over identifying with the experience feel it to heal it as they say and then you can also act in the opposite direction of the cycle that's keeping you stuck if you feel if you feel the resistance as well because sometimes we get through these phases where we feel like everything's supposed to be like nice and flowy and sometimes it is right sometimes things are very aligned and there's a very like flowy easeful path as if we're like floating down a river and then other times we're it's like we're swimming upstream or we're meeting a lot of resistance in order to in order to tell us that like this is where this is the area that you're meant to master and so if you're feeling a lot of resistance to act in the opposite direction of your conditioned self know that this is a sign that you are break like you are you are you are moving in the direction of breaking that cycle that you no longer want in your life act in the direction of your soul your soul's desire when you act in accordance with your higher mind you may feel that physical resistance get stronger right because you're moving against the current of those lower vibrations and that's why you feel that physical sensation of like swimming upstream and what you're saying in your communication to the world around you to god the universe to a higher source and to your soul is that this is the direction i am moving in now this is what i am available for it's your conditioned tendency that that is actually conditioned to react immediately but see if next time there's a cycle happening in your life that's making you feel like oh like i don't like this like why is this happening again see if you can actually pause say nothing do nothing and and then once you feel like the energy has sort of settled a bit see if you can act in alignment with your soul your evolution your truest nature and through this act begin to move through the resistance align with your higher mind and this really tells your soul i am with you it tells the universe this is the direction i'm moving in now i am breaking this cycle to align with how i want my life to really be right i'm breaking this cycle because that's what i came here to do because that's what i came here to master and start to communicate in the way that you that you want to be right and so you're always in a state of becoming if you're in a routine of you know beating yourself up and you want your day to feel more positive you must be that you must be that you know that thought or that way of being or that word or those actions right and you have to create this cultivate this through your energetic body through your i am presence because the i am presence is the one who's creating your reality right which is the one that is connected to all that is the law of one this is the i am presence is the one that's communicating uh through the law of correspondence and so are you communicating with yourself in a way where you have really realized your i am presence within your being or are you communicating in a way where you're still rendering yourself powerless right if you communicate with the world around you and within you like you're powerless you're you're going to feel like you're powerless if you communicate with the world like you are powerful you are going to be so and so the change really has to come from within so we will keep cycling back to this because we really can't skip it because it's a law right and law means like unbreakable and i know we have societal laws that sometimes change over time but for the most part they tend to stay the same like especially the you know really strong ones and we have laws of the universe that we can't change because we aren't necessarily the ones who created the universe right we we are in the sense that we are creating our reality here on earth which is part of the universe but we didn't we didn't make these rules or laws right but we get to play within them to design our reality through our i am presence and so no one as i you know say all of this remember that no one including me is telling you anything new everyone you meet is helping you remember exactly who you are and the depth of your inner wisdom through correspondence which is also known as resonance right and so if this is resonating with you or something else you hear today is resonating with you in a way that feels like really good for your soul it's because it's it's connecting to that inner knowing deep within you and also on the flip side of that when something is
