Transcript

This is a quick breath awareness meditation.

Take a moment to find a quiet space.

Allow yourself to just release any tension throughout your face and your jaw and the eyes.

We'll take a gentle deep cleansing breath in.

And then release through the mouth.

And we'll do two more like that.

Inhale deeply.

Exhale completely.

Last one,

Inhale.

And release.

Gently bring your awareness to your breath.

Allow the body to soften.

Just observing the ebb and flow of the breath.

Noticing the rise and fall in the chest.

And as you settle into this observer mind,

Just noticing the quality of the breath.

Is it a deep breath,

Shallow?

Do you find it's quite erratic or even?

Just really tuning in and being right in the present moment with this breath.

Allow the body to soften with each breath.

Noticing the mind.

As you continue in this space.

As you start noticing the breath.

What are some sensations that come up in the body?

Is there a sense of awareness around the body?

Especially in the respiratory organs.

Slowly deepen into the breath now.

Moving from the observer into the conscious breather.

Take three deep breaths together.

Inhale through the nose.

Exhale through the mouth.

Deep inhale.

And exhale release.

Last one,

Cleansing breath in.

Releasing breath out.

When you are ready,

Gently open your eyes.
