Take a moment to get comfortable.
Feel your breath as it moves in and out.
No need to force calm.
Just arrive.
Now bring your mind a thought that keeps showing up.
Not one to brush off.
Not one you can just let drift away.
But the kind that carries weight.
Maybe it's the strain of your work,
Or the cost of caring for others,
Or a decision you can't ignore.
Instead of pushing it away,
Picture placing it on the table in front of you.
You don't have to climb into it.
You don't have to fix it.
Just see it for what it is.
Notice what happens in your body as you sit with it.
The tightness in your chest,
The heaviness in your shoulders.
Breathe there.
Each breath saying,
I see you.
I know you're here.
Stay with it for three slow breaths.
Not fighting.
Not running.
Not fleeing.
Just witnessing.
Now gently remind yourself.
This thought is part of my story,
But it's not all of me.
It doesn't need to be solved right now.
It just needs space to be acknowledged.
When you're ready,
Bring your attention back to your breath,
And let the thought rest where you placed it.
Still present,
But no longer running the show.
