Welcome.
You're here and that's enough.
Let's begin by simply noticing that you're sitting or lying right now.
You don't need to do anything fancy.
No pressure.
Just land where you are.
Take a breath if that helps or don't.
There's no perfect way to do this.
You showed up and that's power.
If you live with ADHD chances are you've fought your own brain more times than you can count.
Try to push harder,
Focus better,
Be stiller,
Be more productive like everyone else.
That fight is exhausting.
Let's put it down just for now.
Stop trying to fix yourself.
There's nothing broken.
You are not a problem to be solved.
You don't have to struggle to be strong.
You already are,
Even on the messy days.
Especially on the messy days.
Let's try something.
Think of one thing about yourself that others might call too much,
Too loud,
Too scattered,
Too sensitive,
Too fast.
Now flip it.
That too much might be your gift in disguise.
Too loud?
You speak up when it matters.
Too sensitive?
You notice what others miss.
Too scattered?
You see connections others don't.
Say quietly to yourself,
I am powerful in ways I'm still learning to appreciate.
Say it again.
I am powerful in ways I'm still learning to appreciate.
Let those words sink in.
You don't need to hustle for your worth.
You don't need to hide your stems.
You don't need to fake focus.
Right here in this moment,
You have permission to be fully and completely yourself.
That includes the tangents,
The energy spikes,
The forgetfulness,
The creative leaps,
The messy brilliance.
You're allowed to be nonlinear.
You are allowed to rest.
You're allowed to begin again,
Over and over.
Strong doesn't always look like discipline.
Sometimes strong looks like I showed up.
I tried.
I asked for help.
I forgave myself.
As this meditation comes to a close,
Take a moment to thank your ADHD brain.
It's wired differently,
But it's wired for something.
Not broken,
Just bold.
Not lazy,
Just wired for something wild and real and creative.
Let this be your mantra today.
I am strong without the struggle.
I am strong because I'm me.
And when you're ready,
Bring yourself gently back.
No rush.
You've already done something good for yourself today.
