Hi,

This is Audra,

And this meditation today is around restoration and renewal.

The best time to do it is around the winter solstice to the new year.

So let's do some breath work to get comfortable.

So close your eyes or lower your gaze,

Whichever makes you comfortable,

And sit in a seated position either in a chair or on a cushion with your spine erect and your shoulders down away from your ears or lying on the ground.

Let's take a breath in through the nose and out through the mouth slowly and breathe out.

Each time you breathe out,

See if you can find a little bit more softening and releasing of any tension.

Breathe in and breathe out slowly.

And in this last breath,

Breathe in through your nose and release any tension with your out breath that is left.

As you're laying here or sitting in this chair,

Let's focus on our breath for a few breaths.

In through the nose,

Feeling the sensation of air through your nostrils as it comes in and then as it goes.

And then thinking about the things that have happened in our life this past year,

The challenges that we've encountered.

In your mind's eye,

See yourself standing beside a calm flowing river.

The river represents time,

Which carries the moments of your life.

So,

Thinking about the challenges of your past year as small objects,

A stone,

A leaf,

Or a stick floating on the river's surface.

Each of these items holds a memory or a struggle or an emotion and you're ready to release that.

So,

As you stand there,

Gently pick up one of these objects.

Notice its weight,

Shape,

What color it is,

And acknowledge the lesson it has brought you.

And when you're ready,

With gratitude,

Place it back into the river and watch it drift away.

Continue this process with each challenge you've had,

Releasing them one by one.

And with each release,

Feel a sense of lightness and freedom.

And as you release that last challenge,

You notice the river is growing wider and more radiant,

And it's carried everything you've let go of away.

The water starts to sparkle with sunlight,

Just a symbol of renewal.

Visualize yourself stepping into this river,

Letting its cleansing energy flow all over you.

Feel it washing away any lingering heaviness,

Leaving you refreshed and open.

And as you step back onto the riverbank,

Notice how your body feels lighter,

And your heart's more open,

And your mind is clearer.

And as you leave the river,

You walk on a path through the forest,

And you notice a clearing up ahead with a soft golden light.

In the center of this clearing is a large,

Smooth stone.

As you get to the stone,

Imagine sitting on it,

And seeing it as a place of reflection and clarity.

In your mind's eye,

Visualize a journal resting in your hands.

This is your intention journal.

Open it,

And let a word,

Image,

Or feeling naturally come to you.

Something that symbolizes what you most want to cultivate in the next year.

Breathe into this intention.

See it expanding like ripples on a pond,

Touching every part of your life.

How does it feel to embody this intention?

How does it shift your relationships,

Your work,

And your well-being?

Imagine this intention as a glowing sphere of light.

Feel its warmth in your hands,

And then gently place it at your heart center.

Take a moment to express gratitude for the clarity and the opportunities that lie ahead.

You're planting the seeds of your intention,

Knowing they will grow with care and time.

Picture yourself standing at the threshold of the year ahead.

Your intention becomes a vision as a glowing light,

Radiant and full of possibility.

This light represents your dreams,

Goals,

And intentions for the next year.

As you step into this light,

Imagine it surrounding you completely.

Feel its warmth and strength energizing every part of your being.

Silently or aloud,

Repeat these affirmations.

Feel the affirmations that resonate with your vision.

I'm aligned with my purpose and trust the path ahead.

I welcome growth,

Abundance,

And joy into my life.

I am resilient and ready to embrace the opportunities of the year ahead.

I release fear and step forward with courage and clarity.

With each affirmation,

Feel a deeper connection to your vision as though it is already unfolding.

I'm aligned with my purpose and trust the path ahead.

I welcome growth,

Abundance,

And joy into my life.

I am resilient and ready to embrace the opportunities of the year ahead.

I release fear and step forward with courage and clarity.

And one last time,

Really feel these affirmations that resonate with you.

I am aligned with my purpose and trust the path ahead.

I welcome growth,

Abundance,

And joy into my life.

I am resilient and ready to embrace the opportunities of the year ahead.

I release fear and step forward with courage and clarity.

Now,

See yourself living this vision in vivid detail.

What do you see,

Feel,

Hear,

And experience?

Picture the people,

Places,

And moments that will define this next year.

Notice the emotions that come with this vision.

Gratitude,

Excitement,

Peace,

And let them fill your heart.

Place your hands over your heart,

Sealing your intentions and that vision with a deep breath.

Feel the strength of your commitment to your vision.

Take a moment to say a silent thank you for the year ahead,

Trusting that all will unfold as it should.

When you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment,

Into the place and the room at which you are sitting.

Feel your body as it touches Mother Earth.

And when you're ready,

You can wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Flutter your eyes open,

And now you have everything to carry this energy of your vision with you through the next year.
