Welcome.

This meditation today is an elemental meditation.

We're going to connect with earth,

Water,

Air,

And fire.

So let's begin by finding a comfortable seated position with your spine erect or lying down in a space where you feel safe and allows for relaxation.

Allow your body to settle into the surface beneath you.

Gently close your eyes or lower your gaze and begin to tune into your breath.

Notice the rise and fall of your chest and your belly.

Let's take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely,

And hold for a minute at the top,

And then release the breath slowly through your mouth,

Letting go of any tension.

So let's do this a couple more times.

Let's take a deep inhale,

Hold for just a second,

And then exhale slowly,

Releasing through your mouth.

One last time.

Let's breathe in.

Just hold at the top for a second,

And then this time exhale with a sigh.

Now return to your normal breath and feel yourself to begin to ground into the present moment.

If you're able to,

Find just five percent more comfort in where you are.

You're here,

In this space,

In this time,

Fully supported by the earth beneath you.

Now we're going to embark on a journey through the elements,

Earth,

Water,

Air,

And fire.

Allow each element to guide you back to balance,

Calm,

And strength.

Bring attention to your body,

Feeling the weight of it resting on the surface beneath you.

Imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet or from the base of your spine deep into the earth.

Picture these roots extending through the layers of soil,

Reaching the deep,

Rich core of the planet,

Where there is unwavering stability and support.

With every inhale,

Feel energy from the earth rising up through your roots,

Filling your body with warmth,

Calm,

And grounding energy.

Feel the strength of the earth beneath you,

Reminding you that you are supported,

Anchored,

And safe.

Now imagine the earth energy is not just beneath you,

But also within you.

Allow this energy to fill your bones,

Your muscles,

Your heart.

Feel the weight of the earth in your body,

Steady and strong.

As you breathe in,

Say to yourself silently,

I am grounded.

And as you exhale,

Let go of any tension or worry that may be holding you back.

I am grounded.

I am grounded.

Take a few moments to just be connected to the earth.

Imagine the solid,

Reliable energy of the earth infusing every cell of your body.

Now gently bring your awareness to the element of water.

Can you visualize a stream or river flowing nearby?

Its waters are crystal clear and gentle.

Hear the soft sound of the water moving over rocks,

Carrying away any stagnant or heavy energy.

Picture this water slowly washing over your body,

Soothing and cleansing you with every wave.

As the water touches you,

Feel it soften any areas of tightness or tension or emotional heaviness you may be holding.

Allow your breath to synchronize with the movement of the water.

Inhale as the water rises up and exhale as it flows back down gently with the current.

Feel this rhythm.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Flow.

Allowing any emotions,

Any thoughts,

Or any worries to move like water,

Breezily and easily.

There's nothing to do here.

No action to take.

Just let those move like the water.

As you breathe,

Repeat silently to yourself,

I'm at peace.

I allow myself to flow.

Let this feeling of emotional freedom flow throughout your body,

Calming your mind and soothing your heart.

I am at peace.

I allow myself to flow.

Now shift your focus to the element of air.

Imagine a soft,

Cool breeze gently caressing your skin.

Feel the air moving around you,

Expanding your awareness,

Creating space in your mind and body.

Visualize the air filling your lungs with each breath,

And as you inhale,

Feel the air bringing clarity and freshness into your mind,

Sweeping away any mental clutter,

Leaving you with a sense of lightness and openness.

As you exhale,

Imagine the air taking with it any confusion,

Doubt,

Or fear.

Let these thoughts leave you effortlessly,

Carried away on the wind.

Each breath in invites new energy,

And each breath out releases what no longer serves you.

Breathe deeply into the space around you,

Expanding your awareness,

Becoming open to new possibilities.

Feel your mind becoming clear and focused as you repeat silently to yourself,

I am open.

I am clear.

Take a few moments to sit with this feeling of spaciousness and clarity.

I am open.

I am clear.

Lastly,

We're going to bring our awareness to the element of fire.

Picture a small flame glowing at your core,

Just above your navel,

The seat of your personal power.

See this flame flickering gently,

Warm and radiant.

With each inhale,

Feel this fire grow brighter,

Stronger,

More vibrant.

Allow the warmth of this flame to spread throughout your body,

Filling your energy,

Confidence,

And strength.

Now on each exhale,

Imagine that the fire is burning away anything that no longer serves you,

Old fears,

Doubts,

Or limiting beliefs.

Let them be consumed by the flame,

Transforming into light,

Energy,

And freedom.

As you breathe,

Feel your inner power grow.

Repeat silently to yourself,

I am strong.

I am transforming.

Feel the fire within you ignite,

Empowering you to move forward with passion,

Purpose,

And vitality.

You are strong,

And you are transforming.

Bring your awareness back to your breath.

Notice how your breath is becoming after connecting with the four elements,

Earth,

Water,

Air,

And fire.

Do you notice any shifts in your body,

Mind,

Or spirit?

Feel the grounding energy of the earth supporting you,

The flow of water soothing you,

The clarity of air expanding your mind,

And the warmth of fire empowering your soul.

Take a moment to reflect on the balance you've created within yourself.

You are whole,

You are aligned,

And you are connected to the elements that make up this beautiful planet,

Mother Earth.

Allow yourself to rest in the stillness of this integration.

We're going to take three deep breaths,

Inhale deeply,

Hold for a minute,

And then exhale through your mouth slowly,

Feeling fully present.

Take a deep breath,

Inhale,

Hold,

And then exhale slowly.

One last deep breath in,

Hold it for just a second,

Take another sip of air,

And then exhale slowly.

When you're ready,

You can bring your awareness back to the room and the space around you in the here and now.

Gently flutter your eyes open,

Bringing with you the energy,

Peace,

And balance of these elements.

Thank you,

Earth,

Water,

Air,

And fire,

For your wisdom and balance.

I carry your energy within me,

Grounded,

Flowing,

Clear,

And strong.
