So our February theme is Heart and Mind Cultivating Love and Interconnection.
So this week I want to share with you a quick heart opening meditation.
So when you're ready find a comfortable position.
Sit or lie down and close your eyes if you're comfortable to do so.
Take two deep breaths.
Inhale slowly through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Bring awareness to your heart center.
Imagine a warm golden light in the center of your chest.
This is your heart chakra radiating love and compassion.
With each inhale let that golden light expand.
It fills your chest,
Your arms,
Your legs,
Your feet,
Your whole body.
And then with each exhale feel the light radiating out.
It's connecting you to everything around you,
The earth,
The sky,
And all living beings.
Let go of any tension you might feel.
Feel the love and compassion within you growing stronger with each breath.
Stay with this feeling for just a few more breaths.
And when you're ready wiggle your toes and your fingers and come back to the moment,
To this present moment,
And open your eyes.
Take a moment to appreciate the feeling of peace and connection.
