Hello,
My name is Viola,
And welcome to this poem I wrote especially for all of you,
And if you enjoy it,
Please leave me a review.
Summertime and all is fine,
Days are longer,
Nights now shorter,
Dancing barefoot in the rain,
Now it's warmer,
Even hotter,
Well,
It is summertime again.
The air brings the laughter of children,
Creating castles in the sand,
Secret tunnels,
Starships,
And a royal princess with a crown.
Have a taste in a tall glass of fresh-squeezed lemonade,
The mind wanders through a field filling a bucket list of dreams,
Plans,
Books to read,
Places to see,
Italy,
African,
Safari,
Run that marathon,
Or why not just sit by the shore,
Soaking up a little sun,
Maybe it's right here where you belong,
Carefree,
Like a seagull,
Watch as it glides across the blue sky,
Without effort or noise,
It's a choice or a reason to take in this season of summertime.
