Meditation for the heart.
Make yourself comfortable,
Preferably sitting in a chair,
But if you need to,
Then please lay down.
Now close your eyes.
Imagine your heart as a dark,
Mysterious,
Unknown,
But beautiful cavern.
Imagine the daylight pouring in,
And the sunlight opening up and detoxing your heart.
Be aware of your breath as you reflect on this beautiful image and become aware of the feelings that you are experiencing.
Reflect on this beautiful image and become aware of the feelings that may arise.
Now say to yourself,
Raised,
Flexing your favourite fingers,
I feel my heart.
Breathing out,
My heart is opening.
Breathing in,
I feel my heart.
Breathing out,
My heart is opening.
Breathing in,
I feel my heart.
Breathing out,
My heart is opening.
Breathing in,
I feel my heart.
Breathing out,
My heart is opening.
Breathing in,
I feel my heart.
Breathing out,
My heart is opening.
Now say to yourself,
Breathing in,
May my heart detox.
Breathing out,
My heart is detoxing.
Breathing in may my heart detox.
Breathing out,
My heart is detoxing.
Breathing in,
May my heart detox.
Breathing out.
My heart is detoxing.
Breathing in,
May my heart de tox,
Breathing out.
My heart is detoxing.
Breathing in may,
My heart detox,
Breathing out.
My heart is detoxing.
Breathing in,
May my heart detox.
Breathing out,
My heart is detoxing.
Now become aware of your heart.
Place your hand upon your heart,
Upon your chest and breathe into the hand,
In and out,
In and out.
Really try to breathe through the heart.
Let go of all those uncomfortable feelings when you breathe in and out.
Be calm with whatever feelings that may arise.
Now gently bring this heart meditation to a close.
Open your eyes slowly and allow yourself to be still for a few minutes before continuing with the rest of your day.
