If you've been sick for a short while,
Or if you've been sick for a long while,
I want you to know that you are not alone.
Take a moment to settle in to how you feel right now.
If you're feeling afraid.
If you're feeling angry.
If you're feeling calm.
If you're feeling relieved.
I want you to experience whatever you feel.
And in this moment,
We can take deep breaths.
As many as we need.
I want you to know that this illness does not define you.
You are a warrior.
You are brave.
You are strong.
And you are so inspiring.
I am so grateful for your life.
Your life has so much meaning.
Keep breathing through this moment.
I pray that the pain that you feel goes away.
I pray for relief.
I pray for ease.
May God grant you serenity and peace through this journey.
May God grant you support.

Take your time.
If you need to move slowly today,
It's okay.
Take a moment for yourself to do something you love.
