Gratitude is our currency for living,
Loving and walking in our purpose while here on this beautiful earth.
It is how we rest into the abundance that is here for us right now.
It is how we keep energy around us that attracts more abundance.
Without it,
We sink into fear,
Worry,
Doubt,
Anxiety and the lowest vibrations and we create suffering for ourselves.
My name is Shani and welcome to this gratitude practice where our heart,
Body,
Spirit and most importantly our mind can shift into a state of thankfulness.
A state of more than enough.
A state of I am covered and I have always been covered.
Position your body in the most comfortable spot.
Grab any comfort items that may make you feel more comfortable and relaxed like a pillow or a blanket.
And please know there is no right or wrong way to be here right now.
It is not about stopping your thoughts.
If they come,
Let them come.
Just notice them and you can always pull yourself back by connecting with my voice,
Your breath or any sounds in your space.
So before we melt fully into this practice,
Just take a look around.
Notice the space that you are in and how it is supporting you.
Realize how fortunate you are to be surrounded by items,
By peace,
By comfort,
By clean air.
Just think about the freedom,
The privilege and the access you have to be entering into practice for yourself.
Feel your feet,
Back or bottom against the surface beneath you.
Think about how you have been loved by life thus far.
You are alive,
Heart beating,
Mind working,
Body moving.
You are deeply loved.
And if you feel comfortable closing your eyes for your practice,
Go ahead and do so now.
Let's take a deep breath in through our nose and hold it at the top.
Now release a heavy sigh out of your mouth,
Releasing fully any energy that doesn't exude the energy of gratitude.
Continue to breathe in and out deeply but at your own comfortable pace.
So as we're just breathing,
We're breathing in and breathing out.
Feel into your feet.
Think about how they ground you and connect you to this earth.
Now move your awareness to your calves and your legs.
They move you from space to space.
Feel into your waist and your stomach area,
Remembering that this is your root.
This is the home of your intuition.
And just think to yourself,
Thank you.
Thank you,
Body.
And moving up to your chest and your heart space,
This is your engine of love.
Feeling into that space,
Just think about how you love those who support you most.
Your loved ones and yourself.
Feel into your shoulders,
Your neck and your throat.
This has been your tool of power,
Your tool of communicating your needs and what you want.
You have manifested from this voice.
And feel into your cheeks,
Your forehead and your brain.
Remembering that this has developed a skill set that has created so many opportunities for you.
So many beautiful experiences.
Just take a thought about all that you have created from the space of your mind.
And take a deep breath in.
And a deep breath out.

This life has taken care of you,
Really and fully.
And although nothing is perfect,
Everything is beautiful.
Everything is here to help you.
Everything is fueling your path and your journey.
So let's take a deep breath into that.
Taking in beautiful air and energy that you have been blessed with.
And breathe out.
Releasing that same energy to cover your entire being to carry you into the rest of this day.
And just smile.
Smile big.
Show your teeth.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes if they were closed.
Coming fully back into your space.
And just look around and reorient yourself.
Maybe even wrap your arms around your beautiful body and show yourself some love and affection.
And let's just take one last deep breath in.
And deep breath out.
