Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.
Find a comfortable position,
Lying down if possible.
And when you find that comfortable position,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
And repeat this a few times,
Making each breath a bit deeper and a bit longer.
Inhaling deeply,
Breathing in all the way to the abdomen,
Letting the belly expand with each inhalation.
Relaxing the muscles in the abdominal area and letting them come back to neutral with each exhalation.
Letting all the air out.
Slowing down the rhythm of the breath,
Making your inhalations and exhalations a bit longer and a bit deeper each time.
And as you continue to breathe deeply and slowly,
Imagine you're breathing in white light,
Fresh energy and you're exhaling the old,
What is no longer serving you.
Any stress,
Any tensions from the day,
Anything that you no longer want to carry with you,
That you don't want to bring with you tomorrow,
That you want to let go of,
That you want to say goodbye to.
Flowing in this beautiful cycle,
Where you inhale the fresh,
The new and you exhale the old,
What is no longer serving you.
Repeating mentally or out loud,
I let go of what is no longer serving me.
I let go of the stress,
Tension and worries from today.
I let go of any unpleasant emotions that might have come up for me today.
I let go of the anger,
The sadness,
The fear.
I let go of any negative thoughts that are not serving me.
I let go of any worries or beliefs that might be limiting me.
I no longer need them.
And visualize them all going.
Exhale them all out.
Let them go.
You no longer need them.
And as you continue to breathe deeply and slowly and to let go of what is no longer serving you,
See how the body feels lighter.
Maybe your energy system feels brighter.
Your heart expands,
Making each breath as deep,
As long and long as you can.
When we breathe deeply and slowly,
We're letting the body know that it is safe to go to bed now.
That it is safe to sleep.
That it is safe to rest.
That it is safe to go into healing and repairing mode.
Let your body know that it is safe to rest now.
And now bring your hands to your heart,
Feeling your chest expanding with each breath.
And bring to mind what you are grateful for.
It can be your loved ones.
It can be something you have.
It can be something you have experienced today.
Maybe that hot drink that was so nice and nurturing.
Maybe someone who smiled back at you.
Maybe a goal you have achieved.
A moment in the park.
A hug from a loved one.
How about being grateful for just being alive?
To be able to enjoy life another day.
Maybe you want to say thank you for all the lessons you've learned.
All the wisdom you have.
All the skills you have.
And as you connect more and more with the feeling of gratitude,
With the emotion of gratitude,
See how your heart expands.
How you feel lighter,
More elevated.
Gratitude is one of the highest frequency emotions.
When you connect with a deep feeling of gratitude,
Your vibration changes immediately into a new state of being.
And the more you feel grateful for things you have in your life,
For the people you have in your life,
For the experiences,
The more you become in resonance with more joyful experiences,
With more like-minded people,
With more opportunities,
With more growth,
With more abundance,
With more love.
The best way to finish the day is with gratitude.

Maybe letting out a sigh with the exhalation.
And when you're ready,
Start wiggling your toes,
Your fingers slowly,
And get ready for a deep and restful sleep.
