Begin by finding a comfortable seated position.

Close your eyes.

Take a few deep breaths in and out,

Allowing yourself to relax and let go of any tension in your body.

Imagine yourself standing in front of a clear night sky.

The waning moon is shining and yet losing its glowing power day by day.

As you gaze at the waning moon,

Take a moment to reflect on what you want to release from your life.

Think about any negative patterns,

Habits or relationships that no longer serve you.

Repeat to yourself the following affirmation.

I trust in the power of the waning moon to bring release to my life and help me with letting go.

Now imagine a beam of light coming from the waning moon,

Shining down on you and surrounding you in its glow.

Feel the energy of release and cleansing,

Filling your body and mind.

Take a deep breath in and hold it for a few seconds.

As you exhale,

Imagine releasing the negative patterns,

Habits or relationships that you've identified.

Now repeat the affirmation to yourself once more.

I trust in the power of the waning moon to bring release to my life and help me with letting go.

As you continue to focus on the waning moon,

Imagine yourself letting go of anything that no longer serves you and visualize yourself feeling lighter and lighter.

Take a few more deep breaths in and out,

Feeling the energy of the waning moon surrounding you.

When you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes and take a moment to ground yourself back in the present.

Remember the intentions and opportunities you set for yourself during this meditation and take them with you as you go about your day.
