Hi,

I'm Vanessa Diez and I will be your meditation teacher for this session.

I hope you can get yourself into a comfortable position and that you may enjoy this practice.

The peaceful warrior has the wisdom to know what battles to choose.

He does not fight with a sword and he does not carry a heavy metal armor.

Instead he brings his mind closer to his heart,

Creating a warm,

Cozy space around them.

He closes his eyes and he lets his inner vision guide them.

He may not see colors and he might not see solid shapes,

But he can feel it.

He can sense what it is miles and miles away from him.

That's how he moves in the battlefield.

He acts from a space of peace and love.

He acts from a place of trust in himself.

He knows that although the horizon may be filled with darkness,

The sun will always shine as a new day rises.

He knows that there is wisdom in putting our swords and heavy armors down.

They prevent us from going too far away.

They make us tired,

Frustrated and eventually violent towards life.

Give it a try,

Even if just for today.

Choose to be the peaceful warrior and let your inner light free you from the burden of war.

There is no peace in fighting against everything and everyone.

There is no guarantee that that is the only unrightful way to live.

You can only barely survive if you choose to be the unmerciful warrior.

Life is so much more than just survival.

Now close your eyes and think about a time or a topic in which your fighting self always shows up immediately.

Just observe with curiosity and pay attention to the details of the scene or scenes that your mind is showing you.

Notice how your body reacts to what you're seeing.

You may feel contracted,

Angry,

But for now bring your peaceful warrior into action and let him star in this scene.

Let him give you the peace and calm you need to look beyond the event,

The situation and even the person that triggered your strong war emotions.

Now observe how your body feels different,

How the wisdom of the peaceful warrior with his loving kindness manages to send away all the heaviness and painful feelings of your fighting self.

Enjoy the stillness and the warm glowing feeling that starts to rise within your heart based on a deep knowing that you're safe.

Feel how much lighter you feel now that you put your armor to a side and your heavy sword is laying on the floor.

And you can move with grace,

With your both mind and heart aligned and ready to protect you from whatever burden,

Whatever conflict that may come to you.

Leave this space for you as a sacred one,

A place where you can return to whenever you start feeling wobbly,

Stressed,

Angry.

Just bring back again and again your peaceful warrior self and let him do his best for you.

He knows,

He always knows and so do you through his guidance.

So take a deep breath now.

Feel your whole body filled with light,

Renewing all the cells of your body.

And come back to your room with this renewed version of yourself,

Wiser,

Calmer and peaceful.
