When you meditate, memories and thoughts may visit you, even when you are trying to disassociate. This is completely normal, as it often happens to us during everyday moments. This meditation uses this to help you recognise the warmth a good experience can bring you. If you wish, practice this over your tea-time and use fennel seeds for your beverage. Enjoy!

Welcome.

This is a visual meditation.

Allow yourself to sit comfortably,

Either with your eyes open or closed,

And enjoy.

The wind is playing with a few bamboo chimes outside a cozy kitchen.

Story movement echoes and recoches as a short man walks in the room.

He places a rustic teapot from his wrinkly hands onto a small flickering open fling.

A fresh bag of fennel seeds are poured into a similar looking dainty cup.

As he is waiting for the kettle to boil,

Memories of making the pot visit him.

Slowly working through the toughness of the clay to make something strong yet delicate in nature.

Withholding the heat from boiled water,

Yet easily shattered then dropped.

The sound of bubbling water brings him back to reality,

Gently pouring the water on top of the sweet smelling seeds.

Sipping from the brew he returns to his daily tasks.

When you are ready,

You may return to your daily tasks as well.
