Welcome.

This is a visual meditation.

You can practice this with your eyes closed or open.

Find a position you feel comfortable in and enjoy.

Imagine as the sun hits over the horizon,

Gently laying her rays on the rolling hills of Tuscany.

These green pastures are filled with nature's best from entangling vines through potent herbs to zingy citrus fruits.

You can sense the history of trading precious plants in busy markets.

Maybe a speedy servant rushed to pick up some sprigs of bay for his emperor to guard of evil spirits and where the wreath is an emblem of wealth.

On a different corner,

A few wise ladies are sipping chamomile tea as they giggle to each other.

A beautiful young girl passes them with a bouquet of rue in her basket.

Her lips are fiery red like the flower of the poppies covering the nearby field.

Time has stood still in these hills.

With each moment passing,

Traditions repeat.

Allow yourself to stay in the sense of gratitude towards our ancestry as we build our future.

When you are ready,

Bring your attention to your breath and slowly open your eyes.
