Combining your visual meditation with the sense of smell can benefit your practice. Use this 3-minute audio to find purpose and peace. My choice of oil is Roman Chamomile, but any other variety works, too. Use a few drops on your ankles, behind your ears and neck, and your abdomen for full support as you listen along the meditation. If you do not have this oil, simply brew a cup of chamomile tea! Enjoy!

This is a visual meditation.

You can practice this with your eyes closed or open.

As the plant will be discussed,

You may use this in your practice aromatically or topically.

Find a position you feel comfortable in and enjoy.

Another day starts over the skies of Egypt.

As the sun slowly lifts above the horizon,

A gentle breeze picks up too.

There is a soft aroma being carried in the air with a slight resemblance to the fragrance of apples.

Instead of orchards within an oasis,

It's rolling rows of chamomile beneath us.

Dainty,

Daisy-like flowers around our ankles are spreading the rays of the sun.

A group of faithful laborers are picking them as they praise Ra,

The sun god for this generous gift of healing herbs.

The tiny white flowers once dried could be steamed in tea to release any drudgery discomfort.

The pale blue oil extracted by an old sage can be applied on the stomach and neck of the farrow in times of allergies and toothache.

The pure essence of this weed-like plant will be the crowning ingredient in hair oils and bathwater of the ladies of the palace.

Mixed with geranium,

Rose or lavender,

Every woman can feel empowered and comforted through the sedative properties of this tiny plant's powerful drops.

Chamomile is the oil of spiritual purpose,

Allowing its user to shed meaningless activities for finding focus on a more fulfilling work.

Restore your undisturbed confidence as you breathe in,

Not only the story of this ancient herb,

But its peaceful and relaxing aroma too.

Once you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes and return to your surroundings.
