Let's get grounded.
We'll start with breath.
Breathing in and out in your own natural rhythm.
Allowing your mind to follow the path of your breath.
As it comes in and as it goes out.
Now move your attention to where you're connected with the ground.
Whether you're standing,
Sitting,
Lying.
Bring your attention to all the places that are close to the earth.
And to start we are going to honor the earth that is below us.
Picture what the earth below you looks like in your mind's eye.
What it feels like.
And spread that awareness out to the land all around you.
The land that holds you,
That feeds you,
That supports you.
And take a moment to honor the land.
And take a moment to honor the traditional custodians,
The traditional owners of the land that have walked the land that you are on for millions of years.
All those who have held the land,
Have held the land and held it well and will continue to hold it.
Let's honor.
Now bring your awareness back to your body and feel the land underneath you.
Feel the earth.
And allow your energy to go down,
Your attention to go down into the earth.
You may see this or feel this as light,
As energy or you may visualize growing roots.
Going down into the earth.
Let yourself feel that connection.
Feel the support.
Feel the grounding and the heaviness.
And feel the aliveness.
Feel the life that lives under the surface.
And feel how solid and supportive it is.
Now you can let your awareness go all the way down,
Right through,
Down,
Down,
Down through the earth,
Right to the center,
Power center of the earth,
The molten heart.
And feel the earth's slow heartbeat.
And let that energy,
Let your awareness come back up from the center of the earth and up,
Up,
Up,
Up,
Up through you,
Through your feet,
Through your body and filling you up from the bottom to the top with this beautiful energy of the earth for a power of support and nourishment.
You are right here,
Right now on this earth that you honor and it holds you and holds you well.
And when you are ready you can bring your attention back to your breath and back to your body.
You may start to move and when you are ready allow your eyes to open and walk forward connecting to the earth.
