"There is a home within our hearts, a place where we are free; the Circle there enfolds all things, and we are family." This song arose from my heart as I held my firstborn baby in our exhausted, awestruck early hours together. I learned the tune as a child, a melody with old, old roots, but familiar to many as "Amazing Grace." It was one of my Dad's favorite songs. I remember seeing him standing with tears in his eyes as he listened to me and my sisters sing it.
