Serenity Prayer

Months ago, in a moment of exasperation at some of the things that were happening in my family, I found myself reaching for the words of the Serenity prayer. It occurred to me that I needed them to be in a song so I could remember them better, so I wrote one. I hope you enjoy it! The prayer goes: "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference."
