Here is a song I wrote some years ago while thinking about how cool trees are. . . the way that they stand rooted in their truth, being exactly who and what they are with no apologies. . . knowing how to stretch and grow towards the sun, and when it's time to relax and let go, they put on their most gorgeous colors and have a party, releasing everything from the past in a way that makes way and nourishes the ground for the next cycle. Updated and re-released as part of my album "Stop, Drop and Feel". Lyrics: I stand tall, let the Earth carry me. I breathe deep, into my core. Letting go, of everything that held me down.
