Stand Tall (Deepest YES!)

Here is a song I wrote some years ago while thinking about how cool trees are. . . the way that they stand rooted in their truth, being exactly who and what they are with no apologies. . . knowing how to stretch and grow towards the sun, and when it's time to relax and let go, they put on their most gorgeous colors and have a party, releasing everything from the past in a way that makes way and nourishes the ground for the next cycle.

I stand tall, let the Earth carry me. I breathe deep, into my core. Letting go, of everything that held me down. Come pouring in, what I long for . . . Right now, There's nowhere else to be. Right here, I am who I am. Deepest YES! Always guiding me. I open to the Divine Mystery. Ooohhhhhhh!

Wow, Trina , this song brings up so many thoughts.
I want to let my roots grow deep into God and let my life be built on Him . Then I can stand tall as a tree, and hope to bear much fruit.
And like a tree planted by the water, if my roots are deep into the ground, I can withstand the storms of life. But I must care for the unseen parts in the soil (soul) beneath the surface in order to grow tall in God.
