Mother Divine (A Prayer For These Times)

When it seems that the world ‘out there’ is falling apart when there is so much suffering. How can we keep from getting swept away along with it? How can we call our presence back to this moment, this breath, and ask: Where can I put my attention where it will do some good?

This song came at a time when I was intensely feeling world events, immobilized, while my own life was going neglected. I knew I needed help to come back to the center and tend to what was within the scope of my influence. And when I stopped scrolling, stepped away, and opened my heart in prayer, Divine Love was right there. It held me, flowed through me with the tenderest love, and gave me this song.

I hope this song will remind you to give yourself the space now and then to receive the Infinite love that holds us all in these times when so much is being turned upside down, and that — when we ask and open — can give us exactly the support and nurturing we need, and guide us through challenging times.
