In this visualization, I'll invite you to visualize, or imagine in your mind's eye, a beautiful flower. I'll ask you to imagine the flower during a day of changing weather, focusing on how it remains rooted and unmoved even as its external circumstances change. As well as helping to connect us with nature, this practice be a useful metaphor for meditation practice. And highlights how meditation can help some people feel grounded and centered, even amidst the ups and downs of life. Visualizations are generally considered safe and enjoyable for the vast majority of people. However, feel free to modify any natural imagery to feel safe and comfortable for you. For some, longer meditations may lead to mental fatigue; stop if you feel discomfort.
