Let's start by taking a comfortable seat on the floor or lying down.

Close your eyes.

We'll begin by taking a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breathe in 2,

3,

4,

5.

Hold 2,

3,

4 and let it go 2,

3,

4,

5.

Breathe in and let it go.

Notice any tension in your body.

Focus on that tension and let it go.

Relax your body.

Breathe in and as you breathe in,

Invite a deep sensation of gratitude for your breath.

And as you let it go,

Recognise how precious your breath is and what it does for you.

The gift of life it brings.

Be grateful.

Breathe in and draw attention to your heart.

And as you breathe out,

Feel your heartbeat.

Listen to your heart.

Be grateful for your heart.

Breathe in and generate more gratitude for your heart and what it does for you.

And as you breathe out,

Recognise the gift of life your heartbeat brings.

Now let's draw awareness to your body,

Your breathing,

Beating body.

Think of everything it does for you and be grateful for it.

Here in this body,

You have everything you need to find happiness,

Contentment and joy.

An infinite capacity for awareness and gratitude.

Breathe in and bring focus to your mind.

A mind that can notice,

Feel and understand.

And as you breathe out,

Remember you have a mind whose true nature is right here,

Right now in your hands.

Breathe in and smile.

And as you breathe out,

Be thankful for being here.

Breathe in and invite love into your body.

And as you breathe out,

Welcome kindness.

Be thankful for the magic of your heartbeat,

Your breath and the miracle of being here.

And as you come back to your body,

Be thankful for the gift of life.

And now gently open your eyes.
