Good morning.

We will start by taking a comfortable position.

Just lying on your bed or on the floor or sitting up whatever is most comfortable for you.

And be kind to yourself this morning.

Shift around and just get yourself comfortable.

And during this meditation if you have any thoughts that come and go in your head that's okay.

They will come.

They will come and go.

Just gently bring yourself back to this meditation and your breathing whenever thoughts come and go.

Just let go of any expectations and really enjoy your time.

So close your eyes and we will start by bringing awareness to your breath and breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

So breathe in 2,

3,

4,

5 and hold 2,

3,

4 and let it go 2,

3,

4,

5 and breathe in 2,

3,

4,

5 and let it go 1 more time.

Breathe in and exhale Listen to the silence And let your breathing return to its normal pace and notice that natural rhythm of your breath Bring your attention to the top of your head and relax any muscles at the top,

The sides or the back of your head.

Just letting go of any tension you are holding on to.

Moving to your forehead start to slowly soften your forehead soften the eyebrows,

Your eyes,

Your ears and your cheeks Let your jaw relax,

Your tongue and your lips.

Let go of any tension you are holding on to Let go of any tension where you didn't know existed Bring your attention to the throat and allow the muscles surrounding it to really relax and soften the back of the neck as you move to your attention,

To your shoulders really take some time around your shoulders just to let go of any tension,

Maybe move them around and just really really relax Now focus on your arms and your hands and really relax them.

Stretch Stretch your arms,

Stretch your hands and stretch every finger,

Push your fingers right out wiggle them around,

Just let go of any tension Enjoy that feeling Feels good right?

And bring your awareness to your chest and any muscle tension you have in your chest wall just relax it,

Moving down to your belly your lower abdomen,

Push out any muscle tension,

Just really relax,

Stretch and up to the top of your back and muscles around your shoulder blades give them a good stretch let go of everything and the middle part of your back and the lower,

All the way down to your buttocks,

Just push out any tension and relax and your thighs,

Your knees,

Moving down to the front of your legs,

Your calf muscles your ankles and your feet,

Just wiggle your toes around and let the tension go Beautiful and just bring your attention to your whole body now and notice how your body may feel different than it did five minutes ago and gently bring your attention to any area you think might need some extra work more relaxing just scan that whole body as you breathe and one breath in and let it go breathe in and exhale and again,

Just notice any thoughts that come and go into your mind,

That's alright that's what they do,

They'll just come and go if you just gently come back to my voice,

Your breath these thoughts will drift away and as the morning sun rises,

Feel its warm rays of light infusing you with its beautiful orange energy the ribbons of light surrounding your body makes you feel alive observe your breath the calming breath the chest rising with every inhale and just notice the parts of the body that move every time you take an inhale and an exhale beautiful with each in breath,

Feel that morning energy just gently waking up your entire body and just notice any sensations you may have breathe in and send that oxygen all around your body and let it go breathe in,

Send that life giving air all over your body from your head to your toes getting you ready for the day ahead allowing your muscles to wake up breathe in and again allow the sun's rays to infuse you with that energy you need for the day ahead breathe in,

Send that golden energy straight to your heart centre and be grateful for being alive and for seeing this new day breathe in and again feel the rise of your chest and let it go start to wiggle your fingers and your toes stretch them as we gently start to think about the day ahead breathe in and let it go breathe in breathe in and exhale and when you're ready just gently open your eyes just gently open your eyes feel the energy feel how different your body feels to ten minutes ago I hope you have a beautiful day ahead from my heart to yours Namaste
