Welcome to the meditation for grounding and releasing what doesn't serve you.
Bring yourself to a comfortable seated position with your shoes off and your bare feet planted on the floor.
Rest your hands comfortably in your lap and imagine there's an invisible thread that is gently pulling you up from the crown of your head so as to allow your spine to extend not too tightly and softly close your eyes.
As you settle notice any little movements in your body and invite that welcome and familiar feeling of relaxation and stillness to enter as you take in a nice deep breath hold and as you release allow that peaceful feeling of relaxation to flow from the tip of your head all the way down to the tips of your toes knowing you are right where you are meant to be at this moment letting go of the past letting go of the future nowhere to be but right in this moment as you take another deep breath in and hold and as you release that breath let go of any tension or worry your mind may be holding on to feeling more and more in tune with your body and your mind every day is the perfect opportunity for you to create the most beautiful experience for you in your life as you continue to take these slow deep breaths let's add a beautiful earthy element imagine as if you are a tree big tall tree and you have strong deep roots these roots are your grounding cord on your next breath you will send your grounding cord all the way down to the center of the earth right into the very core breathe in hold and as you exhale release your grounding cord all the way down deep into the center of the earth on your next breath you will anchor that grounding cord securely to the center of the earth breathe in hold and as you exhale anchor your grounding cord in the perfect way for you so you're feeling completely connected and anchored to the center of the earth you may notice that through this cord you are connected to a broad expansive area that has access to all the abundance the earth has to offer you it's your birthright and it is fully available to you on your next breath in you're going to pull up the earth's energy through your grounding cord and as you exhale you're going to release all that no longer serves you back down deep deep into the earth to be reabsorbed and cleansed so that it can be reused in a positive way now breathe in and pull all the beautiful earthy energy up through your grounding cord through the soles of your feet all the way up your legs up through your body to the very crown of your head hold and as you exhale all the energy that no longer serves you forms into little black pebbles that travel back down through your grounding cord deep deep into the earth's core so that energy can be reabsorbed by the earth cleansed and be ready to be reused in a positive way we're going to repeat that now so breathe in and pull all the beautiful earthly energy up through your grounding cord through the soles of your feet up through your legs all the way up your body up to the crown of your head filling every inch of your body this beautiful earthy energy hold then as you exhale allow any remaining unwanted energy to form into those little black pebbles and send it all the way back down through your grounding cord down deep into the center of the earth to be reabsorbed cleansed where it can be used in a positive way if you get distracted by any thoughts just notice them and let them go again accept your distraction and bring your attention back to your grounding cord strong and powerful pull in all the powerful energy from the earth as you breathe in and then send any worry or stress all the way down through your feet to be released as you breathe out your you are safe and protected you are grounded you're calm and peaceful bring your awareness and appreciation to the beautiful earthly energy that the earth has given you the strength and relaxation that you now embody you can move with a sense of calm and peace throughout your day on your next breath inhale hold and as you exhale gently open your eyes and come back into the room thank you for joining me today for this grounding meditation
