This meditation will help you rediscover your true worth beyond your accomplishments.
Taking some time off from your day just to be with yourself and to let go of striving will help you realize that you already are where you long for to be.
Many people who have been through a near-death experience witness that it was in the moment of leaving their lives on earth that they became truly aware of their own self-value.
That it was in the moment of death that they knew their true worth and that all the love and worthiness they have been searching for already existed within them.
We can see the same unconditional love and unjudgingness in toddlers.
Babies do not question their value.
We are all born with this natural gift.
This deep knowledge proves that we are all complete just the way we are.
We came complete.
We leave complete.
And we are complete.
And that all the effort we put in life creating our worth is not really needed because we are already what we are seeking for.
We've been taught that our value is conditional.
That love is something we need to get from outside of us.
All the success,
The status,
The things,
The romances,
The confirmation,
And the love we seek already resides within us.
Paradoxically,
The more value we seek outside of us,
The less worth we feel inside of us just the way we are.
So stop striving and sink into the feeling of your true worth.
Right now,
Just the way you are.
Now take some time to find a comfortable spot that you will not be disturbed during this guided meditation.
Find a comfortable position either seated or lying down.
Let your legs fall apart and relax into your hips.
Raise your palms facing upwards and feel your shoulders rest.
Take a couple of breaths just to settle down where you are.
And sink down towards the earth.
And now just settling into this position.
Just allowing yourself to really feel the settling in inside your body.
Allowing your body to become still in this posture.
And just allowing the mind to notice the sensation of stillness within the body.
Just resting in the stillness that you've created inside your body.
Nothing that you need to do,
Nothing that you need to accomplish right now.
Just being here still,
Relaxed inside your comfortable body.
Embracing the soft flow of the breath,
Expanding and relaxing into your belly.
Breathing into the sense of stillness.
Breathing out from this sense of stillness.
And see if you can relax into this feeling of stillness just a little bit more.
Being comfortable in the mind within this stillness,
Together with the rise and fall of your natural breath.
Your mind is comfortable in this flow of breath.
And if your mind wanders off to other thoughts,
Just be comfortable to bring the mind back into this rise and fall of the breath.
Letting every part of your being come to rest.
Becoming aware of the stillness of your being.
Now let's invest a few moments of our time and become aware of your completeness.
Use your imagination and just sink into the feeling of love,
Fulfillment,
And pure worth of your being.
Imagine how it feels to be complete and fulfilled.
There's nothing you need to do.
Nothing you need to accomplish.
Just fill your entire being with a feeling of worthiness.
Imagine how you would feel if you were completely satisfied in your being.
Expand into the knowingness,
The awareness of your self-worth.
Expand into the awareness of the unconditional love that always resides within you.
Become aware that you already are what you're striving for.
And just let yourself be fulfilled.
Expand into the knowledge of your worth.
Know your worth.
Be your worth.
You are love.
You are whole.
You are complete.
Now take a few deep breaths.
Start moving your fingers and toes.
Stretching your arms over your head.
Just stretching out your body.
Simply open your eyes with a true awareness of your own worth.
