Trust.
Flow.
And embrace the seasons.
Everything flows.
Everything changes.
Look around.
It's easy to see in nature.
The trees lose their leaves.
The ocean tide rolls in and pulls back out.
The heat fades and the chill settles in.
Then somehow it all changes again.
Why would it be any different for you?
A human being birthed from nature.
You are not separate from life.
We are not apart from nature.
We are nature.
Living and breathing.
Maybe today you can let this message be a meditation.
Slow down.
Let it meet you where you are.
Just like there are seasons outside,
There are seasons inside.
Big ones.
Tiny ones.
Moments within moments.
Seasons within seasons.
Seasons of boredom.
Seasons of creativity.
Seasons of loss.
Seasons of deep laughter.
None are permanent.
And all are necessary.
Even if the mind cannot explain why.
In the same way that some parts of the world have sharp,
Intense seasons,
While others feel like one long,
Gentle drift,
People are the same.
Some of us live wide swings of emotion and change.
Some move through quieter,
Slower tides.
Where it's winter in one place,
It's summer somewhere else.
Even inside a larger season,
There are smaller currents moving.
A morning of inspiration inside a month of feeling stuck.
A soft smile inside a season of grief.
The flow is endlessly nuanced.
It doesn't always make sense to the mind.
But none of it is a mistake.
Life,
It seems,
Knows exactly what it's doing.
The real struggle comes from an innocent misunderstanding.
The belief that we are separate from life.
This identification with a self that appears to stand apart from the flow makes it seem like we must fight,
Resist,
Control.
But it's a little silly when you really see it.
Like your left hand is picking a fight with your right hand.
The mind thinks it has to win against life.
When in truth,
Life is only moving as it needs to move.
Including you.
You don't need to force the flower to bloom.
You don't need to shout at the sky for a different weather pattern.
Rather,
You can open your eyes.
You can relax your heart.
You can trust the season you're in.
Maybe you feel full.
Maybe you feel empty.
Maybe you have no idea what you feel.
It's okay.
It's part of something so much bigger than the story your mind is telling.
Today,
I invite you to hear this slowly.
Let it land in your body.
Don't rush to figure it out.
Just notice the season you're in.
And maybe,
Let it be enough.
