Healing Yourself for Joyful and Purposeful Living An Insight Letter by me,
Tiger Singleton Can I make this profoundly clear for you?
Only because I find it extraordinary as it plays out in my life and those I work closely with.
We are all on a journey of healing.
This does not imply that we are broken or that something is wrong with us.
Rather,
It implies a sacred adventure.
An opportunity to grow,
Expand,
And experience more and more of what is so beautiful and sacred about life.
Healing is to unwrap the gift you've already been given.
The healing we crave is to be more in alignment with an underlying sense of wellness in heart,
Mind,
And body.
Meaning,
We want to feel good so that we can honor and enjoy our human experience.
It's quite simple,
Really.
Where we don't feel good,
Or where we experience pain such as confusion,
Doubt,
Conflict,
Drama,
Resentment,
Anger,
Etc.
,
Is evidence of being out of alignment with the wellness we crave.
Again,
It's not wrong and not bad.
It's an opportunity.
This opportunity of healing,
Whether we realize it or not,
Is the most impactful opportunity you will ever stumble upon.
Meaning,
As you consciously engage this process,
It will add the most genuine value to your life for the rest of your life.
On the surface,
We might imagine there are more impactful opportunities,
Like a particular job,
Relationship,
Business venture,
Or even preferred political outcomes.
Yet,
These all pale in comparison when it comes to becoming more in alignment with the truth of your nature.
My point being,
This healing is the most important and valuable aspect of your human journey.
Having said that,
What is healing?
I love how simple this can be.
Real healing is to heal perception.
Healing yourself is to see yourself more clearly,
Which is the same as seeing reality more clearly.
Healing is to see what is real and true while releasing our determination to believe or survive what is not real and true.
How is this so?
Well,
As human beings,
We think or assume we are experiencing something out there.
We think life is happening to us.
Actually though,
What we are experiencing is how we see what is happening.
It is just true.
We do not respond to events or circumstances.
We respond to our interpretations of those events and circumstances.
The pain we experience,
Again the confusion,
Doubt,
Conflict,
Drama,
Resentment,
Anger,
Etc.
,
The non-wellness,
Is effectively an alarm that says we are not seeing reality clearly.
The more you assume you are responding to something out there,
The more painful it will be because the more untrue it is.
Pain,
The unwellness,
Is not a punishment.
It is a teacher.
As you truly heal,
Which is to see things more clearly,
This unwellness becomes more and more impossible.
In this wellness,
Your ability to see reality clearly,
Life becomes a playground of sorts where your human can deeply experience the true joys of your true nature.
What are the true joys of your true nature?
Deeply beautiful relationships,
Focused and grounded engagement in life,
Sharing the love you are in the world,
Peaceful living with a heart full of gratitude,
Integrated,
Deeply connected to and supported by the miracle of existence,
And on and on.
Are you devoted?
If you want the truth of life,
You must give yourself to the truth of life.
What does that mean?
It means you must recognize how deeply important this is.
Yes,
It can be a bit scary because we assume or think we want something else,
And if we devote ourselves,
We might not get the other things we think we want,
Which,
Clearly,
Is to see that we're not devoted.
That's fine,
Of course,
Because we will consistently be brought back to the invitation to let go of the world and come home to the truth of life,
Eventually seeing,
Oh,
I get it now,
The world is an illusion and the truth of life is the only thing that's real.
Of course,
The truth of life is the only thing I want.
Okay,
I can devote myself now.
Furthermore,
My emotional pain,
The unwellness,
Is evidence of me clinging to the illusion,
Of me wanting something other than the truth of life.
Again,
This can be profoundly simple.
I invite you to see that the process has already started.
It's been going on your whole life.
Meaning,
Rather than this is something I must do,
It is this is something that's already happening and now I can get out of the way and let it happen.
This is kind of funny because of how true it is.
Life already wants you to wake up and it's already designed for it to happen.
However,
We are so commonly trying to avoid it because we're trying to preserve and protect our illusions.
Every single day,
We are presented with opportunities to heal.
Yet,
We make up silly excuses that push those opportunities away.
I am not ready yet,
Essentially.
This is that voice inside of us that finds reasons why this isn't yet the most important thing.
And,
Comically,
That list of things,
Excuses,
Can be infinite in nature as we unconsciously push away the very thing we want most.
Life compassionately responds with,
Okay,
My dear,
You let me know when the pain of unwellness becomes too much and I'll ask you again if you're ready.
