Thank you for joining me in this 10 minute empowerment meditation.
Take a few deep breaths and allow yourself to settle into a comfortable position.
When you're ready,
Close your eyes and focus on your breath.
Breathe in deeply through your nose,
Filling your lungs with air,
And then exhale slowly through the mouth,
Letting go of any tension or stress you may be feeling.
Repeat this deep breath a couple more times.
Now let's begin by setting an intention for this meditation.
Take a moment to reflect on what it means to you to be empowered.
What qualities and strengths do you possess that make you feel strong and capable?
What aspects of your life could use a little extra support and encouragement?
Take a deep breath in and set an intention to connect with your inner self and to cultivate a sense of confidence and empowerment.
I invite you to imagine that you are standing in a beautiful lush meadow,
Surrounded by tall grass and wildflowers.
The sun is shining down on you,
Warming your skin and filling you with energy and light.
Take a moment to breathe in the fresh clean air and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.
As you stand in this meadow,
You notice that there is a powerful ancient tree nearby.
This tree is strong and rooted,
With deep wide-reaching branches that stretch up towards the sky.
It is a symbol of your own strength and resilience.
Take a moment to connect with this tree.
Imagine yourself standing at its base,
Feeling the bark beneath your fingertips.
As you look up at its towering branches,
Feel a sense of awe and respect for the power and strength it represents.
Imagine that you are able to merge your energy with the energy of the tree.
Feel your roots growing down into the ground,
Deepening and strengthening,
Deepening and strengthening your connection to the earth and all its life-giving energy.
Feel the energy of the tree flowing up through your body,
Filling you with a sense of calm and power.
As you stand here,
Rooted and strong,
Allow yourself to reflect on all the ways in which you are powerful and capable.
Think about your unique talents and abilities,
And how you can use them to create positive change in the world.
Take a moment to reflect on any areas of your life where you may be feeling uncertain or insecure.
Imagine yourself approaching these challenges with a sense of calm and confidence,
Knowing that you have the strength and resilience to overcome any obstacles in your path.
Now take a deep breath in through the nose,
And slowly exhale through the mouth.
Repeat this deep breath a couple more times.
When you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Stretch your arms and legs,
Whatever feels good for your body right now,
And then slowly open your eyes.
Take a moment to reflect on your experience,
And how you can carry this sense of empowerment with you as you move throughout your day.
Remember that you are powerful and capable,
And that you have the strength and resilience to overcome any challenges that come your way.
