Thank you for joining me in this five minute guided gratitude meditation.

I invite you to take a moment to find a comfortable position.

You may wish to be seated in a chair,

You may wish to sit on the floor,

Or you may choose to lie down.

Find whatever comfortable position works for you in this moment.

When you're ready,

Find a soft gaze in front of you.

Or if you like,

Feel free to close your eyes.

Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose,

Feeling your chest slowly expanding.

Then slowly release the breath through your mouth.

Repeat this deep breath a couple more times,

Feeling your body and mind becoming more relaxed with each exhale.

I now invite you to think of something or someone for which you're grateful for.

It could be a person,

A place,

Or a memory.

When you have that image,

Consider for a moment what it is about this aspect of your life that makes you feel grateful.

Become aware of any emotions or sensations that arise within the body as you think of this person,

Place,

Or memory.

Feel those sensations wash over you as though you're stepping into the sun's warmth.

Take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate these feelings and sensations.

Know that you can carry this feeling of gratitude with you wherever you go,

Whenever you need it.

When you're ready,

Slowly return your attention to the breath.

Take a deep breath in,

Hold it for a moment,

And then slowly release it through the mouth.

Repeat this deep breath a couple more times.

And when you're ready,

Feel free to open your eyes.

Thank you for joining me for this five-minute guided gratitude meditation.

Namaste.
