Welcome to this full moon meditation.
I invite you to take a moment and get comfortable,
Whether that is sitting with your spine erect or laying down,
Whatever feels true for you in this moment.
I'll also invite you to turn off any distractions where possible and when you are ready,
Just breathe comfortably for a moment.
As you breathe,
Take note of any places in the body where you might be holding tension,
Any squeezing,
Tightening and relax those muscles as you continue to breathe.
I invite you to close your eyes if it feels comfortable for you and take a full deep breath in.
Pause for a moment at the top of your inhale and then fully release your breath and pause for a brief moment at the bottom of your exhale.
Another full breath in,
Feeling your belly,
Your lungs,
Your chest expanding.
Pause briefly at the top and with a controlled release,
Breathing out,
Followed by a short pause before your next inhale.
I'll allow a moment here for you to repeat this breath in,
Pause,
Breath out,
Pause.
Take a few rounds of this breath to really tune in to how you feel at each phase.
In,
Pause,
Out,
Pause.
With each breath,
Notice what you experience in your physical body.
What about in your emotional body?
Or in your mental body?
And if it's aligned for you,
Also explore what you notice in your spiritual body if you feel connected to that frame.
Lean in to the increased feelings of relaxation.
The full moon is in the cycle between the waxing and waning moon.
It's mirrored by that space,
That brief pause between your inhale and your next exhale.
In your body,
You may have experienced that same fullness at the top of your breath.
This halfway point in your breath cycle is a culmination and a heightened energy,
Different than what you experience in the pause following your exhale.
There is almost a brightness mirrored in that void at the top,
In that pause before you begin to exhale.
The full moon is when you get clear on and set in motion,
Letting go of all that keeps you stuck.
It is a time of forgiveness of yourself and others,
And a time to set the intention for what you want to let go of,
Release and end during the waning part of the cycle.
Continue breathing.
Breath in,
Short pause,
And out,
Short pause,
Deep breath in,
Pause at the top of the breath,
Slowly exhale,
And pause when your lungs are empty before filling them again.
As you breathe,
Tune into your energy.
If you have been in your flow this lunar cycle,
You will feel a moment of completion.
If you have been fighting against the energy at this peak time,
You may feel completely emotionally frazzled.
Take a moment here to get curious which one feels most true for you in this cycle.
You don't need to think here,
Just bring your awareness to your heart and see where your intuition may bring you.
Continue breathing.
Under the light of the moon,
You will be able to see the light of the moon.
And see things very clearly.
And this is a wonderful time to evaluate.
Now is also the time to look at all the little nudges you may have received and things that seemed difficult during the waxing moon phase.
Notice where you strayed from your new moon intentions,
What you allowed to stop you or hold you back,
Or where you let self-doubt,
Fears,
And self-sabotage and procrastination get in the way.
Continue to breathe as we drop some questions into our heart space.
You don't need to consciously think of an answer for these.
Just breathe,
Allow,
And stay curious to anything that arises.
Don't try to force anything,
But rather focus on your breath and tune into your heart here.
What stood in your way?
Where did you sabotage and play small?
Stay tuned into your breath.
That voice of self-doubt stopped you going after what you wanted.
Stay tuned into your breath here and let's drop in the final question.
How did you ignore your gut feeling and the signs?
Continue breathing.
If you've uncovered any frustration at yourself for staying hidden and small or for being pulled away from your new moon intentions,
I want you to allow that frustration or anything else you may be feeling,
But allow for even more compassion and grace towards yourself.
We often stay small to stay safe and this is okay.
Now return to your breath and go even deeper within.
Deeper.
Keep breathing and visualize or imagine any of the ways you've been pulled away from your new moon intentions.
This is the time that you can release the behaviors,
The blockages or challenges that don't serve your highest good and your new moon desires.
I will give you a few minutes of silence here to allow you to get clear and have your inner knowing bring up what stood in the way.
I will give you a few minutes Now allow yourself to sense,
Feel or simply imagine a waterfall appear in front of you.
It is glowing under golden light.
Step forward into the stream of water.
Allow yourself to start to release your blocks now.
Let the water clear you.
Cleanse the blockages your inner knowing found.
Whether you became consciously aware of them or not.
Let the water spill down the crown of your head over your face and the back of your head.
Allowing the cleansing water to run down your throat and neck.
Feel your shoulders being cleansed.
Your chest and back body.
The water continues to run down your heart space,
Your solar plexus,
Abdomen,
Pelvis and root.
The flow reaches your hips,
Thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
Shins and feet.
Until you are finally immersed in this cleansing golden waterfall.
With each drop surrounding your entire being,
You release more and more of anything that is not in alignment with your intentions and your highest good.
Any blockages are soaked into and composted by the earth beneath you.
Any behaviors you want to release are washed away and composted by Mother Earth.
Everything standing in the way of your new moon intentions is washed away and transmuted into beautiful loving energy.
Keep breathing and take another moment here beneath the releasing waterfall.
Take a deep breath in and cleansing breath out.
Again,
Deep breath in,
Cleansing breath out.
One more deep breath in,
Releasing and cleansing breath out.
The full moon also gives you the opportunity to celebrate any goals that have been reached.
If you're new to living with the lunar cycles and new to this meditation,
Keep in mind that it may take several cycles to allow new moon intentions to arrive and fully manifest.
Now that we've cleared some energy away that wasn't serving your intentions,
Let's take a moment here to refill those energy centers with gratitude.
Reconnect with your breath in and out and with your next breath in,
Breathe in some celebratory energy throughout your entire body and being.
Use your breath to bring in gratitude for any achievements and any goals that have been reached.
Another breath here and with this one,
Give thanks for the abundance and magic in your life and show gratitude to anyone and anything that helped you reap the rewards of your new moon seeds of intention.
Allow your focus to come back to your breath as you bask in this beautiful energy that has been released.
Start to wiggle your toes and your fingers coming back into your current reality,
Back into your body.
When you are ready,
You may slowly blink your eyes open if they were closed.
You can take time here to journal about your experience or simply continue with your day.
