Autumn: Hallow

The album Autumn is part of a four-volume series exploring the seasons using ambient sound. Hallow has a familiar spooky ambiance, but it is inspired by the Buddhist Heart Opening Mantra, "Gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha" (or "Gone, gone, gone all the way over, everyone gone to the other shore. Enlightenment!" as translated by Thich Nhat Hanh) as well as the autumn call for introspection, mystery, and reverence for the "other side". Celebrate the thinning of the veil between the worlds and commune with the spirits you feel called to connect with.
