We will be taking you through air,
Connecting with breath,
Earth,
Grounding your body,
Water,
Releasing energy through small movement,
And spirit.
EFT tapping for emotional release.
Take this time just for you.
Find a comfortable position in your chair.
And let your body be fully supported.
Close your eyes if you wish and feel safe doing so.
Otherwise keep a soft gaze on the ground somewhere in front of you.
Will begin your journey with the element of air.
Connecting to breath.
We're going to take three deep breaths together.
Wherever you are in your breath cycle.
Let the air leave your lungs.
And when you're ready,
Inhale softly through the nose.
Filling up your lungs with cold air.
And exhale gently through the mouth,
Taking a slow breath.
Feeling the warm air leave your body Again,
Take a slow breath in through the nose.
Filling up your belly and exhaling softly through the mouth.
Allowing the air to pass through your lips.
One more time in through the nose.
Breathing in fresh cool air.
And out through the mouth.
Releasing any stagnant air.
Follow your body's own rhythm now.
Inhaling through the nose softly.
And exhaling through the mouth.
With each exhale.
Softening a little more.
And slowing down the pace.
Let yourself be guided by your breath.
We will leave you here for a moment.
Now,
We're moving on into our Earth element.
Finding stability in your body.
Notice the weight of your body against the chair.
Feel yourself supported.
Grounded.
And safe.
Bring your attention to your feet.
Notice where they connect with the floor.
Imagine roots growing down from the soles of your feet.
Into the earth below.
With every breath.
Those roots anchor you deeper.
Help bring awareness to your legs.
The calves.
The thighs.
Heavy.
And support it.
There is nothing.
They need to do right now.
Feel the connection at your hips.
And lower back.
Resting into the chair.
Carried by the Earth.
Take a slow,
Steady breath into this space.
And let it release.
Bring attention to your belly and chest.
Notice the rise and fall with each breath.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Heavy and supported.
Let the weight of your arms drop into your hands.
Resting with ease.
Now move up through your neck.
Your jaw.
And your face.
Unclench your jaw.
Soften the muscles around the eyes.
Smooth across your forehead.
Finally,
Bring your awareness to the crown of your head.
As though a gentle light is resting here.
Connecting you upwards.
While your roots draw you downwards.
Held between earth and sky.
Feel your body fully supported.
There is nothing to change.
Just be here.
Grounded.
As we arrive in our next element,
Water.
We invite a sense of release.
Take a slow breath in.
And a long flowing breath out.
Let the exhale feel like a wave moving through you.
Carrying tension away.
You might like to begin.
With slightly moving the shoulders.
Rolling them forward in small circles and rolling them back.
Now that the head moves softly from side to side.
Left.
To write.
No rush.
No effort.
Just a gentle sway.
Now bring your attention to your hands and your fingers.
Try wiggling them slowly.
Almost like water dripping or flowing through your palms.
Notice the sensation.
In each of these movements.
And move down.
Into your feet.
And your toes.
Shift them gently.
As if he were stepping into his dream.
For the next few moments.
Let yourself move or be still.
In whatever way feels like release.
Now immerse.
To our last element spirit.
Place your right hand on the left side of your chest.
And your left hand.
On the right side of your chest.
Almost like you're embracing yourself.
Take a slow,
Steady breath.
Into this space.
And release it out.
Now.
I'd like you to tap your left hand once on your chest.
And then your right hand.
Once on your chest.
And keep alternating between left and right.
Nice and slowly and gently.
Whilst you silently repeat these words after me.
I release what no longer serves me.
I let go of negative energy.
I am safe to step out of my mind and into the present.
I choose calm.
I choose peace.
Keep breathing deeply.
Letting the words sink in.
As we come to the close of this practice.
Take a moment to notice how you feel now.
Notice your breath.
Notice your body.
Notice your mind.
Begin to invite gentle movement back into your body.
Wiggle your fingers.
Roll through your shoulders.
And maybe take a slow stretch.
And when you feel ready.
Softly opening your eyes.
And returning to the space around you.
Carry this sense of balance and connection of air,
Earth,
Water and spirit with you for the rest of the day.
