Welcome.
This meditation is part of a gentle invitation to return to your truest self.
The version of you that existed before the world told you who to be.
Today we'll journey inward to meet her again,
Your authentic self.
We'll hold her in love,
Accept her as she is,
And give her the space to live,
Breathe,
And thrive.
You are not here to be someone else's idea of enough.
You are here to be you.
Fully,
Unapologetically,
Beautifully you.
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable seated or lying position.
Slowly close your eyes and begin to connect with your breath.
Inhale through the nose and gently exhale through the mouth.
Again,
Inhale deeply and exhale slowly.
Let the breath be your anchor.
Allow your body to soften with each breath.
Let your shoulders drop.
Unclench your jaw.
Let your mind settle.
Feel your breath as it moves in and out of your body.
There's no need to change it.
Just notice it.
Inhale and exhale.
With each breath,
Imagine peeling back a layer of who the world told you to be.
Each exhale lets go of someone else's expectation and each inhale brings you closer to your true self.
Now imagine standing in a quiet,
Sacred space,
Somewhere beautiful,
Peaceful,
And safe.
Ahead of you is a mirror.
Not just any mirror,
But one that reflects your soul.
Take a step toward it.
As you look into the mirror,
You begin to see her,
Your authentic self.
She's not perfect,
But she is real.
She is you.
Take a moment to really see her.
Notice how she holds herself.
What emotions are present?
What does she want you to know?
Now say to her,
I see you.
I accept you.
I love you.
Let these words echo in your heart.
Now ask yourself gently,
What truth wants to be lived through me?
What do I need to stop hiding?
What would life look like if I gave myself full permission to be real?
As you breathe,
See yourself living as her,
Your truest self.
Feel how light it is to stop pretending.
How freeing it is to just be.
You don't have to be anyone else.
The world doesn't need a copy.
It needs your truth.
Breathe into that freedom.
Inhale,
I am worthy of being myself.
Exhale,
I let go of pretending.
Inhale,
I embrace who I am.
Exhale,
I live my truth.
Now slowly return to your breath.
Bring your attention back into your body,
Back into the room,
And back into this present moment.
Wiggle your toes.
Wiggle your fingers.
Gently roll your shoulders.
And if it feels right,
Place one hand on your heart.
Know this.
Your authenticity is not a flaw.
It's a gift.
You are allowed to live in love with who you truly are.
Now when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and come back to your day with this intention.
