Let us begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either lying down or seated.
Bring your shoulders away from your ears as you soften in through the face.
Take a nice deep breath in through your nose and a gentle breath out.
Breathing in,
Filling up the belly and chest.
Breathing out slowly and consciously,
Releasing the breath.
Continue breathing into the belly and chest.
And breathing out slowly and with ease and control.
Continue bringing your awareness to the fullness of your inhales and to the fullness of your exhales as you find your own natural rhythm of the breath.
And when the mind wanders,
Know that this is completely normal and a part of the human experience.
And gently yet persistently,
Bring your awareness back to the sensations of each inhale and each exhale.
Softly begin to shift your awareness to your heart center as you feel the energy of your heart radiating at the center of your chest.
Breathe into this energy as you feel the energy of the heart radiate stronger and deeper in and for you now.
Begin to explore where in the body you feel the sensations of love.
Where does love live within your body?
What does it look like?
Feel like?
What textures,
Colors,
Qualities does it possess?
Allow your body,
Mind and heart to be immersed with the feelings of love.
Bringing your awareness ever so slightly to where the feeling of kindness lives within you.
What colors,
Sensations,
Textures and feeling does kindness give to you?
Are the feelings of love and kindness similar in your body?
Are they different?
Notice these two feelings of love and kindness,
How they relate to each other and how they differ.
Allow the feelings of love and kindness to mix and merge together.
Allow them to weave and flow,
Merge and mix until they become one.
With the feelings of love and kindness ever so present in your body and mind,
In your heart and spirit.
Begin to visualize someone who you care about deeply.
Someone who you love and someone who loves you.
Allow your mind to form a mental picture as you see their physical features,
Facial expression and their general goodness standing right before you.
Sense that they are here,
Near you now.
With this person ever so present in your mind and in your heart,
Wish them these wishes of loving kindness.
May you be happy.
May you be safe.
May you be healthy.
May you accept yourself just as you are.
May you be filled with loving kindness.
Imagine this person receiving your well wishes within them,
A sweet smile drawing upon their face as they soak in your well intentions of loving kindness.
Taking a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
Know that your words resonate in and for them right here and right now.
Now begin to bring to mind someone else.
Someone you may or may not see regularly.
Someone who you care about and someone who cares about you.
Allow anyone that comes to mind naturally be present in your mind and heart now.
Picture this person as though they were standing right before you.
Feel their essence near you as you extend these wishes of loving kindness.
See your person receive them now.
May you be happy.
May you be safe.
May you be healthy.
May you accept yourself just as you are.
May you be filled with loving kindness.
See your special person receiving these words and intentions with a smile drawn upon their face.
Return back to your breath for a brief moment as you fill yourself back up with the loving kindness you just gave.
This means the world to someone,
But don't forget that you are someone too.
Picture yourself now just as you are.
Perhaps you can see yourself right here in this moment or maybe you visualize yourself in your favorite place.
Allow yourself to see and feel your essence,
Present and near.
And as you send yourself these wishes of loving kindness,
Feel the words as you do.
May I be happy.
May I be safe.
May I be healthy.
May I accept myself just as I am.
May I be filled with loving kindness.
Take a deep inhale as you fill your spirit,
Body and mind with loving kindness and exhale as you release anything which no longer serves you.
Again,
Breathe in,
Filling yourself with safety,
Happiness,
Health,
Acceptance and love and exhale as you release anything which no longer serves you.
Allow yourself to be filled with loving kindness as a sweet smile is drawn upon your face.
And to end,
Allow your awareness to shine out as far as it can reach to yourself,
Your loved ones,
Your family members and friends.
Allow your awareness to surround your world and the entirety of the world beyond you as you join me in extending these final wishes of love and kindness for all beings of the planet.

In a deep breath in and a deep breath out,
Allow yourself to bask in this energy of loving kindness cultivated here within your hearts,
Within your bodies and within your minds.
