Welcome.
All of our recordings use a real live recorded human voice,
Not AI.
So you can relax knowing that a real person is guiding you.
My name is Rick and I'll be your guiding voice through this recording.
This guided meditation.
Has been created to show you how you can cherish yourself through the day.
You may do this whenever you have the time.
Many people do not cherish themselves.
Some simply feel they do not have the time.
While others may not feel they are worth it.
Or that they should look after others before themselves.
But everyone needs to be cherished.
And treat themselves with the kindness they would show to someone who is beloved.
As you listen to this meditation.
You are giving yourself time to relax and that in itself is an act of kindness toward yourself.
Sit or lay down.
And allow yourself to relax.
Let your own body.
Settled into its most comfortable position.
Close your eyes.
And gently notice your breathing.
With every exhale.
Allow your body to soften a little more.
Imagine that with each breath,
You are becoming more relaxed.
More at ease,
As if the outside world is slowly fading into the background.
Thoughts may still come and go.
And that's okay.
You don't need to push them away.
Just let them pass,
Like clouds.
Drifting across the sky.
Now.
In your imagination.
Begin to picture yourself.
Walking gently towards a door.
The door is made of wood.
As you touch it.
The wood feels warm.
As if it has been touched by sunlight and soaked it up.
You turn the handle and push the door open.
Beyond Dead.
Is a quiet room.
Created just for you.
This room is calm.
Still.
Safe.
The lighting is soft.
The temperature is comfortable.
The atmosphere here.
Is.
Soothing.
There is nothing here that demands anything from you except your presence.
It feels as if it invites you to enter.
And be still.
Just take a moment to look around this room.
.
.
Notice the colors.
The furniture.
And any ornaments.
The textures.
The sense of peaceful space.
Here there is a large and comfortable chair.
You move toward it and sit down.
You feel perfectly supported.
Held.
And at ease.
In this quiet room.
You are allowed to pause.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to simply be.
Now.
Bring your attention gently to your heart area.
Not forcing anything,
Just noticing.
This is a place where you can begin to cherish yourself.
Not in a loud or dramatic way.
But quietly.
Tenderly.
Honestly.
Cherishing yourself.
Doesn't mean everything feels good.
It simply means that you treat yourself with care.
Imagine that in this room.
There is a warm,
Kind,
And gentle presence.
Not another person.
But a feeling of kindness towards you.
It is a reminder.
That's your life.
And all your experiences.
Matter.
That you deserve care.
Simply because you exist.
As you rest here.
I'd like to share some very simple ways that you can cherish yourself.
Throughout the day.
Especially on days when you feel busy.
Tired.
Or low.
Cherishing yourself.
Can be as small as taking one slow breath before you begin a task.
Just one breath.
Where you pause,
And say silently.
I'm doing the best I can.
It can be allowing yourself to drink a glass of water.
And really notice it.
Knowing that it is doing you good.
Feeling the coolness.
The refreshment.
The small act of care,
Even when everything else feels heavy.
Cherishing yourself.
Might mean speaking to yourself a little more gently.
Instead of criticism,
You offer understanding.
Instead of,
I should,
You say,
It's okay to go slowly.
On busy days.
It might be letting yourself sit down for a minute longer before moving on.
Or stretching your body just for a few seconds.
A quiet signal.
That you're listening to your own needs.
Checking in on yourself for that moment.
On days when you feel depressed.
Cherishing yourself.
Does not mean being positive.
It means being honest and kind.
It means saying.
This is hard.
And i'm allowed to feel this.
It might be choosing one small thing.
That brings even a hint of comfort.
A warm drink.
Soft music.
Fresh air.
Or wrapping yourself in something cosy.
Not to fix the feeling.
But to support yourself through it.
Cherishing yourself is not about doing more.
Often it's about doing less.
And doing it with kindness.
Letting yourself be human.
As you sit in this quiet room.
Allow these ideas to gently settle.
You don't need to remember them all.
Even one small act of care is enough.
Bring your attention back to your breath.
Breathing in.
.
.
Hand.
Breathing out.
And silently repeat to yourself.
I am worthy of care.
Breathing in.
.
.
I am worthy of care.
Breathing out.
Even on difficult days.
Let these words land in whatever way they can.
You don't need to believe them fully.
Just allow the possibility.
Spend a few moments now.
Resting quietly in your room.
Knowing you can return here.
Anytime you need.
A place of calm.
A place of kindness.
A place where you can pause and cherish yourself with this quiet time.
When you feel ready.
Begin to gently bring your awareness back to your body.
Noticing the surface beneath you.
The sounds around you.
The rhythm of your breath.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Just a little.
And when it feels right,
Slowly open your eyes.
Taking this sense of care.
Back into your day.
One small step.
At a time.
