Now,

Before we write anything down,

I want to make sure you're doing it from a place that is conducive to good journaling,

More so to good sleeping.

I want you to close your eyes for a moment and I want you just to begin to breathe in and out.

In fact,

Let's do it together.

Nice deep inhale through the nostrils and out through the mouth.

Deep inhale through the nostrils and out through the mouth.

Carry on like that and all I want you to do here is mark this time out as a time dedicated to you and your wellbeing.

Make sure that you leave the day that's been behind you and you begin to breathe in some of the potential of tomorrow.

This ability to restart.

Okay,

You can blink those eyes open.

Let's get started.

Now,

I'm going to ask you five questions.

I'm going to give you a minute to write a bit in each element.

If you need more time,

Just pause.

If you need less time,

You can skip forward.

All right.

So the first thing you can do is write down my one small big thing.

Now,

This is just the thing that would make tomorrow a big win,

The thing that would make the biggest difference in your life.

Now,

It is a small big thing because I want it to be something that you can achieve within the day.

Think 15 minutes at the gym,

Not eating chocolate,

Starting that project you know you should.

This is important because good things take time and if we only wait to the end of things to celebrate,

Things can get rough.

So just think about the one big thing you can do tomorrow that will make tomorrow a great day.

All right,

We're going to move on now.

So just pause if you need more time.

Number two,

Your must-do list.

So take the next minute and just think about all the things you have to do tomorrow,

All the admin stuff,

Call the doctor,

Pay the bills,

That sort of thing.

And just think,

Is there anything else?

Okay,

Good job.

Now,

For our third step,

I want you to write down three sentences of things that are most prominent in your mind right now.

It doesn't have to be coherent or grammatically correct,

It just needs to be honest.

You can write things like,

My friends hurt me,

I'm worried about work,

I hope tomorrow is sunny.

Any three sentences,

Simply put what is on your mind right now.

Last few seconds coming up.

Get that stuff out your head onto the page.

Good work.

And now just write a sentence or two about how you want to show up tomorrow.

Who is it you want to be tomorrow?

For me,

I've got something coming up,

So I want to be confident,

I want to be eloquent,

I want to be sharp,

I want to be kind.

Do the same thing for yourself now.

All right,

Last few seconds on this one,

And then we'll move on to our last prompt.

Okay,

I think that's enough time.

So last thing,

What are you grateful for today?

I know it's a cliche,

But it's so important.

I want you to finish the day by thinking about what you're grateful for.

Again,

Doesn't have to be coherent or grammatically correct.

Just say dog,

Sun,

Biscuits,

Whatever it is,

Make a list,

Think about it,

Enjoy the process.

All right,

You still got time to think of some more if you're a bit stumped,

But if you got a good amount on there,

That's okay too.

All right,

Let's wrap it up there.

Thanks so much for joining me for this journaling session.

I hope you enjoyed it.

If you want the prompts,

They'll be in the description,

Or you can come back and listen whenever you want.

See you soon.
