How much energy do you spend making yourself easier for other people? Monitoring your expression. Adjusting your voice. Holding back your excitement. Hiding discomfort. Rehearsing what to say. Trying to need less, feel less, or take up less space. For many neurodivergent people, these tiny adjustments can become so automatic that we barely notice we're making them. And over time, constantly monitoring how we're being received can be exhausting. This gentle meditation offers a place to put some of that effort down. You don't need to uncover your "true self" or stop adapting to the people around you. You're simply invited to experience a few quiet minutes where nobody needs you to be easier, quieter, happier, more comfortable, or more understandable than you actually are. Here, you don't have to edit yourself before you belong.
