This guided meditation is designed to walk you through a relaxing experience, reminding you that you hold the power of relaxation within. This meditation focuses on training your body to relax as well as learning to navigate unwanted/unhelpful thoughts to help you have a more peaceful and positive mind.
Transcript
I would like for you to just begin by finding a nice and comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Go ahead and just begin to rest your eyes and focus your attention on the sound of my voice.
And as you allow yourself to get nice and comfortable,
Nice and relaxed,
I would like for you to begin using your imagination.
As you continue to relax,
You will find that it becomes very,
Very easy to use your imagination.
I would like for you to begin to imagine now that there is a shimmering light that is hovering right above your head.
This relaxing golden energy of this light begins to fall down upon the top of your head.
Quieting your mind,
Releasing any unwanted,
Any unwelcome thoughts.
Good.
And imagining now that feeling of relaxation as it now spreads from the top of your head and down through your face.
Releasing your face completely,
Feeling so calm,
So peaceful,
So relaxed.
And imagining now is that golden light beginning to fall down upon your shoulders.
Releasing deep down into your shoulders,
Melting away any tension,
Melting away any discomfort that you might have been holding in your shoulders.
Notice how your shoulders are softening,
Relaxing even more as you are sinking deeper and even deeper into relaxation now.
And that golden light now shines down your arms.
Feeling your arms completely all the way down to your fingertips.
You are feeling so calm,
Feeling so peaceful,
Feeling so relaxed.
And it feels so good to just let go,
To just relax.
Now that relaxing golden light begins to fall down onto your chest,
Filling your hearts and your lungs,
Just breathing deeper and relaxing further with each and every breath that you take and each and every sound of my voice.
And any outside unimportant noises that you may or may not become aware of will simply help you to relax more and more and will guide you back to the sound of my voice and relaxation.
And you now imagine the golden light as we're spreading to your hips and your stomach.
And it feels so good to allow that light to spread throughout and relax your entire body,
Relaxing every cell and every nerve,
Relaxing every organ,
Every muscle,
Just relaxing every part of your entire body.
That relaxation now spreads from your hips and all the way down your legs,
Relaxing your legs completely all the way down to the very,
Very bottoms of your feet,
All the way down to the very,
Very bottoms of your feet.
As you realize now that your entire body from the very top of your head,
All the way down to the bottoms of your feet are feeling so completely and so comfortably relaxed.
And you continue to sink even deeper into comfort,
Even deeper into relaxation as we go along because it feels so good to just allow yourself to just let go and just relax.
Good.
And as you continue to relax even more,
You find that it becomes very,
Very easy for you to use your imagination.
I would like for you to begin to now imagine yourself sitting in a nice comfortable position,
Gazing out upon the horizon.
Imagine that you are watching the sunset on the horizon.
And maybe you imagine yourself watching the sunset on a beautiful sandy beach or maybe in the mountains or a garden,
Wherever you find to be most relaxing and enjoyable to you.
And as you watch this peaceful sunset,
You begin to take notice of all of the beautiful brightly lit colors.
You notice the bold oranges and reds,
The pinks and maybe even beginning to fade into a purple light.
And as the sun continues to set,
I'm going to begin counting down,
Counting down from the number 10 all the way down to the number one.
And as I do each number that I count,
The sun will continue to set and you will continue to relax all the way down to the sun completely setting at the number one.
And with each descending number,
Your level of relaxation will double.
And allow that to happen and allow that to happen.
Watching the bright,
Beautiful colors of the sun.
And nine,
Beginning to just relax and just let go.
Eight,
Sinking deeper and even deeper down.
And seven,
The sun continuing to go down more and more as you are thinking even deeper and even deeper relaxed.
Six.
And five,
Just letting go.
It feels so good to just let go,
To just relax.
Four.
And three,
Watching the colors begin to fade as you allow yourself to relax.
Relax even more.
Two.
You are getting even closer now.
The colors are all nearly completely faded.
And one all the way down.
Very good.
Now that you're nice and comfortable and completely relaxed,
You will allow your subconscious to remain very,
Very focused on everything that I will be saying.
As you continue to relax,
You will allow your subconscious to accept,
Absorb,
And act upon all of the positive suggestions that I will be offering.
All of which are for your highest good,
Your greatest benefit.
As you continue to sit in a nice,
Comfortable position,
You begin to focus in on your intention.
The intention of allowing yourself to live life in a peaceful,
Positive way.
For you to feel completely relaxed,
Completely capable,
Completely confident,
And at peace in all aspects of your life.
However,
As you continue to focus in on this intention,
You realize that up until this point,
You have struggled with feelings of anxiety,
Stress,
And overwhelm.
And this burden that you've been experiencing of all of the stress and all of the anxiety has been limiting your life and controlling and consuming your thoughts.
Maybe up until this point,
Your body has been feeling nervous or agitated or as though it has been functioning in fight or flight.
Maybe your worries and your thoughts have been endless and filled with anxiety,
Overwhelm,
And negativity.
You realize that up until this point,
You've been feeling discouraged.
You've been feeling stressed out far too often.
You realize that this anxiety has been affecting your life.
But as you continue to relax,
You also realize that it is time to make some very important changes.
Sometimes you now know that the experiences of anxiety and panic aren't keeping you safe.
They aren't protecting you.
They aren't supporting or helping you in any way.
So starting today,
You are ready to train and tell your mind and your body how to relax.
You are in charge of your body and your body will respond by doing so.
Your body takes messages from your mind and your mind is going to guide your body into a nice,
Peaceful,
Relaxed state.
And you realize that you can achieve this peaceful and relaxed state anytime you want because you are in control.
You have complete control over your body and you can guide your body into relaxation at any time,
Just as you have done right now.
You can guide your body into relaxation at any time.
It is so easy for your body to relax because it expects relaxation.
It desires relaxation and letting go,
Relaxing,
Feels so safe and so positive.
Notice how great it feels right now,
How easily you are able to achieve this deep,
Relaxing,
Positive and peaceful state.
Notice how comfortable and calm you are now feeling.
You achieved this peaceful and calm state just by letting go,
Just by relaxing,
By quieting your mind and directing your body to feel calm and peaceful as well.
And because you are in control over your body and your thoughts,
And because you are choosing to feel this level of peace in your life,
You can direct your mind and your body to relax just like it is right now.
Relaxing comes easy and natural to you.
You enjoy relaxing.
Your thoughts are now peaceful and positive.
You feel safe,
Safe in your life,
Safe in the world.
You've made the decision to clear a way to shift out of all anxiety and high stress and also choose to let go of all of the causes and all of the reasons behind that anxiety.
Clearing away all of that negativity feels so safe and so positive.
You realize that you are thinking clearer,
That you are thinking more positive than ever before.
Able to think of new opportunities,
New possibilities that are now available to you.
You feel productive.
You feel motivated.
You feel cool,
Calm,
Collected,
And completely capable of effectively navigating anything you are faced with.
You are strong.
You are resilient.
You are in control over your thinking and choose to think positively.
From now on,
Anytime you have a stressful or anxious thought or anytime your body feels nervous or anxious,
You will simply take three deep and relaxing breaths.
These restorative cleansing breaths will help to reset your body and will be your reminder to relax.
Once you take your three deep and calming breaths,
All nervousness,
All anxiety will instantaneously melt away.
Anytime you feel stressed or anxious,
You can take these three deep,
Relaxing breaths.
And because you are in control over your body and your mind,
You will feel your mind and your body respond immediately by relaxing and feeling peaceful and at ease.
And you can even try it now.
Take three nice deep breaths and see how good it feels.
Great.
From now on,
You allow yourself to feel the same feeling of being in control over your body and your mind.
And you can do the same thing anytime you need,
Breathing in peace and positivity,
Feeling hopeful,
Feeling positive.
Your thoughts are so clear,
So positive.
Good.
In just a moment,
I will begin to invite you to return from your experience.
You will bring your experience with you.
Feeling calm and relaxed,
Rejuvenated,
Feeling peaceful,
Feeling positive and feeling capable of navigating every situation that comes your way.
One,
Feeling is now returning to your fingers and your toes.

All energy is in complete balance.

Things that used to bother you in the past have now been completely released.
Four,
Your eyes have been bathed in cleansing,
Cooling,
Calming monitors.
And five,
Feeling peaceful and relaxed every day in every way.
