Begin by getting into this present moment.
Feel your breath flowing in and out in a rhythmic manner until you begin to relax your mind and settle in.
Take three deep breaths directly into your heart and feel your connection to the heavens.
Bring your attention to the top of your head,
Your crown chakra,
And imagine light flowing into the top of your head and making its way down to your heart,
Relaxing everything on its journey,
Your jaw,
Your neck,
Breathing a little more deeply.
And now bring your focus to the palms of your hands and the bottom of your feet and allow Mother Earth energy to move up your central channel all the way until it also reaches your heart.
And now allow these energies from heaven and from Mother Earth to blend.
Allow them to connect you in just the right manner for you to feel connected to a higher consciousness of love.
And now begin to sense the space around your body.
This is your sacred energetic space.
You can think of it as having your own personal atmosphere.
Feel into this energetic space and see if you can detect the outer edges of your energy field.
Sense and claim this space that is you so that as you navigate through your day,
Your energy remains a strong force field of light.
Continue to feel into how far your energy extends out from your physical body and strengthen the external edge of your personal space,
Sealing in your energy and creating a gentle yet solid border between what's you and what's not you.
This boundary is discerning.
It allows in what is good for you,
What's intended for you,
What's meaningful for you,
What's healthy for you,
And it keeps out what's not.
This boundary also honors others' boundaries.
So rather than merging with those around you,
You can stay clear within yourself.
So visualize in your mind's eye the outer edges of your energetic body now having a clear and concise and strong boundary.
And you're in charge of this boundary.
You get to choose what comes into your space and what stays out.
Now take a moment and allow healing to go to any part of yourself that believes you do not have a choice but to absorb and allow others to connect with you in unhealthy ways.
This is likely a very young part of yourself that was forced to believe that you do not have rights to yourself.
Speak lovingly to that part of yourself and reassure him or her that it is now safe to define your boundaries.
Take several deep breaths into your heart and allow any distortion around boundaries to release and get its wings.
Giving yourself permission to have strong boundaries is a gift to your soul.
It is not selfish or unkind.
Just continue releasing,
Feeling the expansion within your energy field as you strengthen your boundaries and release that might be preventing you from knowing your own power and claiming your space as yours.
Now tune in again to your personal atmosphere and sense how you feel when you define and claim your own energetic space.
