This is an uplifting guided meditation with background music. The meditation will guide you through a process of cutting the cord and letting go of something that you are holding onto that is keeping you stuck, blocked or overwhelmed. You will create space and feel free to return to alignment. You will then be guided to tune into your intuition or the universe and receive loving guidance and wisdom.

Go ahead and come into a comfortable position.

Sit up straight and tall.

Bring your palms down onto your thighs and close your eyes.

Start to settle in bringing your attention to your breath deepening every inhale and every exhale in through the nose and out through the nose.

And just start to tune inward.

Notice any sensations happening in the body,

Any tension and just breathe into those spaces.

With every inhale dropping deeper and deeper inward and into a sense of peace and relaxation.

Now go ahead and bring to the surface something that you feel you need to let go of.

Bring this into your mind's eye and see it out in front of you.

Imagine this thing,

This person,

This event,

Whatever it is,

With a cord that's tying you to it.

And I want you to notice what is happening in your body.

What is the feeling that you feel attached to this thing?

And start to breathe in light and gratitude to fill up both you,

This thing in front of you,

And the cord that's in between you.

Just fill it with so much light and so much gratitude and that you start to notice the cord is dissolving.

Say to this thing in your mind's eye,

Thank you.

Thank you for showing up.

Thank you for getting me closer to where I need to go.

Thank you for giving me another opportunity for growth and healing and I choose to let you go now.

Now keep filling this up with love,

Light,

Gratitude,

And if there's anything left of the cord visualize taking a scissor and cutting it.

Use this moment to really let this go.

It can be that easy.

Thank you and I choose to let you go.

I want you to imagine taking whatever is left in front of you now no longer attached to you and putting it into an imaginary box.

So take everything in front of you and put it into this box all the light,

All the love,

The experience,

The feelings,

The tension,

The cord,

Anything that's left.

Just put it into this box and close the box and once you've put everything in the box go ahead and lock the lock that's on the box and keep the key in a safe place and then put the box on top of a shelf and close the door.

Now take a few deep breaths with every exhale sigh out loud do an open mouth exhale and just release anything that's left over any extra weight anything else that you're holding on to and go inward and notice how light you feel how much space you've created now you've taken all of that energy and you've put it in the box so you can create more space for good things to come instead of holding on to this I choose to create space for something greater to come I choose to cut this cord now continue breathing in the sense of ease the sense of freedom the sense of letting go of lightness know that you can always open that box and come back to holding on to what's no longer serving you but you can also leave it in there and feel free as you continue focusing on your breath coming back to inhales and exhales through the nose start to inhale the feelings that you want to be more in alignment with an exhale of course any remaining feelings that you'd like to let go of any tension that's left anything that's left just let it go inhale what you want to be in alignment with inhale freedom inhale ease inhale peace inhale lightness inhale love inhale joy inhale excitement fill yourself up with these feelings and cultivate this alignment right now and from this place of alignment go ahead and check in with your highest self or your higher power or your guides whatever is calling to you put your attention on whatever space in your body feels like the place that you can connect maybe it's your heart center maybe it's your gut maybe it's your mind's eye and in your mind's eye repeat these mantras after me I surrender my desires to the universe and I know I'm being guided I choose to release the outcome and feel good now thank you universe for guiding me now ask your higher self the universe your guides a question it might just be what is it that I need to hear today tune inward and listen to whatever comes up and when you're ready bring your hands over your heart and take a few more loving inhales and gentle exhales sealing in this practice sealing in all the alignment you've created and trusting that you can come back to this at any time I surrender my desires to the universe and I know I'm being guided I choose to release the outcome and feel good now thank you universe for guiding me when you're ready slowly start to wiggle your fingers and toes come back into the room and open your eyes
