Welcome to your session today.

My name is Shanna Moyer and I have the pleasure of leading you through this beautiful meditation designed as a gentle reminder of love and not romantic love.

The love that is found inside that inner knowing that inner voice,

Those reminders of self-worth and value.

Take a minute to get yourself set up in a comfortable seat,

Or if you choose to lie down that's perfectly okay as well.

Listen to your body,

Surrender into what you need today,

And when you feel comfortable close the windows of your eyes.

Take a breath,

Let it all go.

Breathing deeply down into your body,

Surrendering into how you feel right now.

If I were to ask you what you would say to yourself on the notion of love,

What would you say?

How would you answer a call of love for yourself?

We spend a lot of time being the highest critic of ourselves,

Standing in front of a mirror and picking apart every imperfection.

And the reality is,

No one else sees them.

We stand there and pick it apart.

We tear ourselves down.

And why?

There really is no good reason.

There is no perfect answer.

We all have a story that has led us here.

You know your why,

And I know mine.

So instead of looking in the mirror and focusing on all of the imperfections that no one else sees,

Let's take a moment and focus on that reflection,

That person in the mirror.

And instead of critiquing them,

Let's give them a gentle reminder of love.

Very simply,

You can say to yourself,

I love you.

You are strong and you are beautiful.

You are kind and your heart is full of compassion.

I love you.

And then start repeating it over and over until it really sinks in and becomes words,

Gentle reminders,

Etched on your heart.

I love you.

You are strong and you are beautiful.

You are kind and your heart is full of compassion.

I love you.

I love you.

You are strong and you are beautiful.

You are kind and your heart is full of compassion.

I love you.

I love you.

You are strong and you are beautiful.

You are kind and your heart is full of compassion.

I love you.

And one last time,

Maybe placing hands over your heart.

I love you.

You are strong and you are beautiful.

You are kind and your heart is full of compassion.

I love you.

I love you.

I love you.

I love you.

Repeating those last three words as many times as you need to.

And if it stirs up an emotional response,

Good.

Maybe you have been aching to hear those three words for a really long time.

We spend so much time critiquing what we see,

Critiquing what we feel,

And not enough time saying I love you.

Placing hands over heart if they're not there already,

Bowing your head ever so slightly to seal in this practice,

This gentle reminder of love.

When you feel ready,

Opening the windows of your eyes,

Coming back into the present moment and knowing that in times when you are feeling uncertain,

When you are doubting yourself,

Your worth and your value,

You can come back here and simply say,

I love you.
